I've ordered many SINGLE gloves from Amazon in the past, and all have been fine. However, the 2 orders I completed, using sellers that were not Amazon, but used Amazon to fulfill the orders, and buying TWO gloves for under $22, have been what I feel are fakes. The real OVE Gloves have a tag, with all manufacturing information/regulations, sewn in to the glove opening. The tag, and the box they come in, state that they are made in S. Korea. The gloves I believe are knock-offs, have NO tag anywhere inside the gloves. The boxes they come in do state that they are made in S. Korea, but there is NO tag on the gloves themselves.The real Ove Gloves are much thicker, a brighter white, the print on the gloves is more crisp/clear, and they fit larger hands easily. I can barely fit my fingers into the gloves I believe are fake. The real gloves are very roomy and even my 6'4" neighbor gets his hand into them with plenty of room.Perhaps the easiest way to see a real vs. possible knock off glove is by looking at the opening where you slide your hand inside. The real gloves have a white border material. The other gloves have a black material border.And... all my SINGLE glove orders have been the real Ove Glove. Every PAIR of gloves order has been the ones I believe are fakes.Unfortunately, there is no way to see if you will get the Ove Glove or the possible knock offs as you order. I am sending back 6 orders of gloves that are sold as a set of 2. So far, both orders I received of the possibly fake/lesser quality gloves, were orders sold as a set of 2. Answer:	I received fakes from Amazon. I have the real Ove gloves and noticed the poor quality immediately. I had no idea people were selling fakes, especially Amazon, but the quality was so different I did a search and sure enough, they were fakes. I contacted Joseph Enterprises and confirmed. Mine were white at the bottom, but no tag or hook inside which was one of the signs for those of you who don't know how to tell. The real ones are amazing. I just received the real ones from Joseph Enterprises who are trying to work with Amazon to stop selling the fakes. If you are getting burns when using your Ove gloves, you most likely have fake gloves. Return them to Amazon if you don't have a tag and hook and tell them why you want your money back. Also verify that the UPC number on the box begins with 021363 which is assigned to Joseph Enterprises. I'll upload a picture of the real gloves I received in the ratings. The real gloves are a 5 out of 5 stars!

Question:	Are these gloves washable
Answer:	The packaging said the Gulife Glove hot surface glove can be conveniently machine washed. Wash without corrosive cleaning products. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. I have not tired washing them yet as they are new. I had a pair of the old style before they added the silicone strips on and I used to wash those in the washing machine with mild detergent and air dry. I had those gloves for over 10 years.
Question:	are these real Ove Gloves? or are they counterfeit
Answer:	These are not Ove Gloves. They aren't counterfeit because they don't claim to be Ove Gloves, just similar.
Question:	How do you dry them after machine washing
Answer:	I don't know how the manufacturer recommends that they be dried. Personally, I'd keep them out of a hot dryer for fear of loosening the silicone's bond with the fabric. Just hang them on a clothes hanger using safety pins or clothes pins, and let them air dry. (That seems silly. They're used for handling hot items, after all. But only for brief--not extended--periods.)
Question:	How long can you hold something hot? I need something for a cast iron waffle iron and it takes me a few to turn it over as it is a bit awkward
Answer:	I use these with hot cast iron and my pizza stone. It's about 1000x easier to grab things and while you can't hold onto things forever they have held up great. I'm just here thinking about replacing my one glove that I've had for over 10 years now and I'm not even really sure I need to yet.

Question:	I have very small hands and short fingers, and wonder how these will work for me. Thanks for any help
Answer:	They might feel thick on your hands but I think you'll like them anyway. I take a men's medium glove so I have rather large hands for a woman. The gloves are snug on me. My housemate has small hands and can use them just fine. Give them a try.
Question:	How do you clean these gloves
Answer:	They are able to go through a standard washing machine. Mine however are used all week so I will soak them in water mixed with a little detergent to loosen up the dirt. Given them a good rinse, then toss them in the wash.
Question:	Would I be able to grab hot stuff out of the oven with these
Answer:	It likely depends on how hot and for how long. I have grabbed a few hot trays with them for a short period of time and have grabbed a metal coffee roaster drum out of 450+ degree oven. They aren't as ideal as good ol' thick oven mitts and do transmit a bit of heat but certainly do the job.
