Answer:	I haven't had them shrink for me. I do wash with hot water, rinse with cold, and tumble dry most of the time. These haven't lost their shape, distorted the embroidery design or shrunk away from the fabric borders I've added.

Answer:	These are the same size, and more expensive than the Osocozy bleached cotton (white) flat diapers you can buy from Walmart online. The diapers seem fluffier, but I'll see whether there is a difference in absorbency after they have been washed and dried a couple of times.

Answer:	Love this towel. I am embroidering on it. It is not 2" thick. I think it probably meant it was 0.2" thick. It wrinkles when washed and needs ironing.

Answer:	The tag says "Distributed by and manufactured for ZainiTex Inc, Canada." I assumed they were from India but am not certain. They are all right but not as absorbent as I'm used to with muslin dish towels and am hoping that repeated washings will make them more absorbent and have no idea why I even think that might happen. They are okay and my laziness means I will use them till they die. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I should have just gone to Williams Sonoma website and paid too much for towels I know work.
