Answer:	So I didn't get the round ones I got the rectangular ones and I find them to be more sturdier than plywood I think it's proper wood it's completely unfinished but not splintering. They worked out really well for what I needed them for. So I'm not sure 100 % on the round ones but on the rectangle or ones I believe that they are proper wood. Hubby confirmed proper wood.

Answer:	The top part of the dish is divided into 4 parts with a removable cup in the middle, which can hold sauces or dips. Each of the compartments are approximately 4 3/4" wide by 6-6 3/4". I have used the entire top for shrimp cocktail-about 2 pounds of large shrimp. It has also been used for vegetables and dip. Although I did. To measure the quantity of vegetables, I would guess that each compartment held about 3cups. The bottom portion of the unit can be used separately and would be great for a large salad or dessert. Although I have only used this a few times, I was satisfied with it. I have seen this same item in a store at a much higher price.

Question:	How much weight or approximate weight does each tier hold
Answer:	I put 4 to 5 sandwiches cut up on the middle layer and a pound of grapes on the top. The bottom held 6 to 7 sandwiches

Answer:	I would say maybe 4? We had donuts on each tier, and could put a single layer with a couple inches of space above them. They were frosted so we didn't want to stack them, and it held about 1.5 dozen donuts, a mix of cake and longjohns. I loved this tray and want to buy more!
