Answer:	I use my PennPlax in a 5 gallon tank with a betta and it works great. I do partial water changes every 2 weeks. Are you asking if it works with a tank that hold 1/2 gallon? (0.5) If so, I would say NO. It is too strong for such a small space. Also, betta's should be kept in a MINIMUM 2.5; but 5 gal. or more is optimal, with heater and filter.

Answer:	Sadly there is no control on this cheapie....I tie knots on the line (1 to 2 or 3) here and there and just tighten them till it's bubbling the way I want it. Works just fine. Answer:	I would get 3 or 4 maybe even 5 for your 120 gal. The air stone that comes with it is only about the size of a quarter. I have never tried it on a larger stone but my guess is it will not power anything larger then the stone that comes with it. The power cord that comes with it is only about 2 feet long so plan to run a cord to near the top of your tank. The air line is also about 2-3 feet long. This pump only turns on when the power goes out. The number you buy would also depend on what your stocking levels are too. If you already have a large air system on your tank you could also buy a UPS battery backup. (Price for a decent long lasting one is about $189)Hope that helps you.

Answer:	Living in the Northeast we get some crazy weather. This pump should be used as a back-up. It will turn on when the power goes off as you need to plug it in the outlet next to the tank. And yes it does only work on the batteries...hence a battery back-up pump if you lose power. The electrical plug is a sensor that will sense when the power cuts off. It is very powerful and gets the job done. My fish love to swim in and out of the currents it makes!

There are clips (stick-on, or clip-on) that will fit most caving and rock climbing helmets to secure the headlamp (clips) strap so it will not slip off the top of the helmet. Check with others in your caving group to see what options work best for your style helmet.
