Question:	Can I pour boiling water from a kettle into this? I don't have a microwave
Answer:	Yes, it is perfectly safe to pour boiling water into your Hario Chacha teapot. We have been using ours for over two years and absolutely love it. We pour boiling water into our pot, and we also microwave the teapot without the metal screen, it's safe both ways.
Question:	Can you wash the teapot using a dishwasher
Answer:	Absolutely. That is one of the reasons I bought this specific pot. The hubs won’t Touch dirty dishes that are hard wash only. However, as many have said, I rarely end up sending it through the wash. It really does simply require a swish.
Question:	For how many people is 700ml teapot
Answer:	700mL is about 23 ounces. American-style coffee and tea mugs vary wildly, so the serving greatly depends on you. For comparison, a can of soda is 12oz, so that's two cans. Diner-style mugs are more along the lines of 6-8oz, so that's 3-4 diner mugs. Traditional British teacups that look more like the rest of the world are in the range of 4-6oz, which means roughly 4-6 cups.

Answer:	In general, you NEVER put a teapot directly on the stove, no matter what teapot. They are designed that you boil the water separately in a metal tea kettle. Once the water is the correct temperature, you pour it over the tea leaves which are in the teapot and steep them. Teapots are generally pretty, decorative, and often fragile. You will definitely ruin your teapot and potentially injure yourself if try to put the teapot on direct heat. Cannot stress this enough.

Answer:	No, this will not allow for brewing of smaller cups. The basket sits a ways off the bottom. Very disappointing for an otherwise perfect teapot.
