Answer:	I haven't tried to put this on a cook top, I would be afraid it would break. I pour the boiling water in with the tea bag.

Answer:	It is stoneware, so yes. However, a few general precautions/habits will serve you well. Try not to put the pot directly on the flame, somebody suggested a wire - good idea, more for an electric burner, I don't see it helping with an actual flame. While a cold pot can be heated, don't rush it with too hot a flame, also don't preheat your burner - the more gradually you get the pot from cold to warm, the less likely you are to cracking the pot or the glaze. As long as the pot and glaze remain intact, you can use the pot forever. When you are ready to add your tea, take the pot off the heat and put it on a heatproof trivet, tea towel, pot holder, so you're not placing the hot pot on a cold surface. I am assuming you are smart enough not to handle a boiling hot pot of water with your bare hands. Two last things - never let the pot boil dry, and avoid any sudden temperature changes, hot/cold or cold/hot, which is really what this whole 'manual' was about.

Interior bowl is 3.4 inches wide and 1.25 inches deep (bottom of bowl is flat and approximately 2.5 inches across) Inside of lid is 3.1 inches wide and approx. 1 inch deep. Lid has a flange about 0.5 inches deep that makes for a good fit when set on the bowl. My wife puts cut-up a nutrition bar in it with a little bit of room to spare. It probably would hold a half cup serving of steamed rice? Hope this helps.

Question:	You can't use this on a burner, right? So you boil water in a metal teapot and then pour it into this ceramic one to steep
Answer:	To correct a previous answer, this teapot can be used in the microwave (to reheat tea or, I suppose, heat water beforehand). The metal infuser, however, is not microwaveable.
Question:	Does the spout dribble
Answer:	It pours smoothly until the tea is almost gone, at which time it pours unevenly. But it does not dribble (does not drip from the spout after pouring is done).
