Answer:	This model has three settings - Low, High and Warm. Both the low and the high settings on the slow cooker will cook at about 209 degrees F. These two settings, however, will cycle differently which will cause the high setting to prepare food faster. The warm setting on a slow cooker is around 165 degrees F.

I don’t usually preheat - just put it in & it preheats & starts cooking, timer goes off & if you don’t take it out, automatically goes to keep warm mode. It is a slow cooker as well. I haven’t used my gas stove since I got the XL grill 3 weeks ago. Love it!

Answer:	It doesn't rattle. But I've found water will collect there after condensing on the lid. If you're using a crockpot liner, then this can allow for some seepage under the seal. Occasionally, using a liner and simmering bone broth for more than a day, I will find a puddle of water dripping from the liner in the morning. I usually turn my liners up, back over the lid, to avoid this.

However, I tried the 'Add to Cart' link, but couldn't find the cart or a way to 'proceed to checkout'. So, I clicked on 'CONTACT FORM' button just to the right of those cart links. Lo and behold, in the upper right-hand corner was the 'My Cart' link. Looks like their website could use a little bit of work! ;- } Bottom line: lid plus shipping and tax was about $22 to my city.

Crock pots are primarily used for meals that contain meat in the recipe. Leaving meat out at room temperature for 2 hours or more is a recipe for food poisoning at best.

Question:	How to make rice? there is no water marking for rice in the pot
Answer:	It is about 3 1/2” deep. I use it for one person meals.
Question:	Is it difficult to clean
Answer:	Haven't measured it since it is coiled and fastened to be compact on kitchen counter. Would guess 2-3 feet. I wouldn't recommend an extension cord because when cords are short they are meant to be plugged directly into the electrical outlet.
Question:	To those with 3qt size, are you happy with that size or would you have preferred the 6 qt size
