Answer:	I had a 42 lb Siberian Husky mix and purchased a right knee medium for him. If you look at the listing, on the left hand side are a group of pictures, a couple of which show you how and where to measure your dog to ensure you get the right size...you can't go by weight alone. For example, the girth of a 50 lb Basset Hound would be different than the girth of a 50 lb Border Collie, so please measure according to the instructions. If you scroll down to the end of the page, there are also detailed measuring instructions listed there. Answer:	It did not work for us at all. 8 wks of crate rest for a blown ACL on a 8 mo old male lab pup. He couldnt touch the floor with his leg. Leashed at crate slow walk out to bathroom back to crate. He healed great runs all over. Avoided $5,000. surgery. It was toigh though he was a real good boy.

Answer:	I would say yes. It is adjustable. It is a heavier brace but that was a plus for the strengthening of the leg post op.

Answer:	it depends... it is a bulky brace, it fits under sweat pants or baggie pants but the buckles are quite large as are the hinges... it is used after knee replacement surgeries to restrict motion, mostly bend. i have had multiple knee replacements and this was a great brace, supportive and yet still restricted the bend as required. (definetly not for skinny jeans or pants) hope that helps!

Question:	Does the hinge allow for full flexion or does it stop at a certain angle
Answer:	Mine measured at 15.25, which I could have gone with the XXL instead of the XL. My only issue was when it was new, it was very difficult to put on, because it fit me really tight/snug and it doesn't help that my calf muscle is pretty well formed. I have had it for a few weeks now and it has stretched a little, but it is still snug, easier to pull up now. So, to kind of answer your question....I usually am an XL, so I went with XL. You are like me, you are in that in between size where you could go either way, I would just go with the way you think would better suite you. I like that fact that it's snug, I feel like the XXL would have become a little loose. Hope that helps.

It stays in place all day and is very comfortable. I have a. severed meniscus tendon in my knee which gives me sort of a "trick knee". The brace has a range of motion settings so, for example, when I walk I set it to be sort of stiff leg, which keeps my knee from buckling forward. I can open it up for full motion to use the bicycle machine at the gym. All in all it is a heavy duty, quality product. I have had it for about two months and I am very happy with it.
