Answer:	I think there are 3 washers. Two outside of the jar...One ourdide one is stainless and the other is rubber against the glass jar. The inner one is heavy rubber. The nut is stainless.

Answer:	Possibly, it requires a 5/8 inch (16mm) diameter opening to install. It fits a dispenser wall up to 11/16 inch (17mm) deep. You have to be able to get your hand or a small wrench inside the jug to tighten the nut.
Question:	Will these work on a 3/4 inch hole
Answer:	The diameter of the hole in my jug was a little wider than the diameter of the threaded spigot stem. 5/8 inch is but a tiny bit smaller than 3/4 inch. I didn't measure the hole or even look at it before I received the X-Chef, nor had I read the dimensions of the X-Chef. So, I was flying blind, but I figured the price would be a small loss if it wasn't returnable. I removed the leaky spigot (supplied by the jug manufacturer at no extra charge) that had come with the jug, washed the X-Chef and installed it. It doesn't leak. It works nicely. So, I don't know the answer to your question, but perhaps my experience will be helpful to you.
