Question:	Is there a link for detailed cleaning instructions? Disassembly? Cleaning would be my only concern. Very interested
Answer:	I use the cleaning tabs and rinse after each use. About once a month I fill with water and cleaning tabs, pressurize and run the solution through under pressure to clean site glass and tap. Easy to keep clean.
Question:	How long will beer stay cold in the ukeg if it is not kept in the fridge
Answer:	I've owned the 128 oz version for a couple of years now and I just love this product. I live in Chandler Arizona and let me tell you it gets very hot here during the summer months (110 F almost all summer) I usually fill mine on a Friday night and then leave it in the car while I stop for some dinner on my way home from the Brewery. This often takes a couple of hours. I immediately put in the refrigerator when I get home and start pouring after abut an hour or so. The beer is very cold and perfectly carbonated. The double wall vacuum insulation works very well!!
Question:	I am interested in this growler, but i am very concerned after reading so many horrible reviews about quality issues. are they being addressed? how
Answer:	I have a 128, and 64 size. It comes with a 1 year limited warranty, so if there's an issue they will fix it at no cost to you (I had to get my early Kickstarter 64 fixed). They also redesigned the cap in 2016. The new ones are much better, but you still have to upkeep the product. The seals eventually wear out after a couple years, so now they offer seal replacements. I think one of the issues is that people expect it to be as simple as a hydroflask, but it requires some know-how (look at their how to: https://www.growlerwerks.com/pages/howto). It's still easier to use than the ones with co2 on the outside.
Question:	what is the longest period someone has kept their beer in this and still remain fresh
Answer:	Filled 128oz uKeg on 10/2 at the Fredericksburg (Tx) Brewery. Had two glasses that night. Drank it down to just above 32oz the next night. It sat in the fridge for four days with the regulator cap set to the first line. Poured the rest on 10/7 and it was just as fresh and carbonated as the day it was poured.

Answer:	Hi there, Dale. While the uKeg Go will be able to add a bit of carbonation to your beverage, if your intent is to primarily use your uKeg for force-carbonation, I would recommend the uKeg 64 and 128 Stainless Steel and Copper models, which have a higher and more precise pressure setting for this purpose.

The Growler Tapping System Coupler

The idea of the growler coupler developed from our desire of creating the experience of a perfect pour with nice head that you would get from a brewery but at the comfort of your own home through a growler. With a normal growler every time it is open you are introducing oxygen to the beer causing it oxidize degrading flavor and aroma making it taste like cardboard. By injecting CO2 and without the need to open the cap during pouring your growler can now stay fresh for up to two weeks. You can now enjoy fresh beer throughout the week instead of having to finish the growler in one sitting.



The design of the growler coupler was made to not only fit our Kakaako Brewing growlers but also the Yeti Rambler and RTIC Growler. This was very important to us because many of us already own these other flasks and it would allow us to convert them to portable mini craft beer tap.

Answer:	Should work fine with the smaller uKeg, but would be a waste of CO2, unless you try to leave it in for 2 fills. The 16g is intended to keep one fill of the 128oz growler from going flat.
Question:	Is the regulator fitting 1/4" FL
Answer:	These are OK for the pepper ball launchers. The Byrna uses these smaller 8g cartridges. The regular size 16g that are for pellet guns are too big!

Answer:	It probably would if you cut the tubing a little bit longer and made sure that it was laying at the bottom of the keg when you place it in the refrigerator.

Answer:	Good question. I searched online for Kakaako Brewing Co and can't find any information about this company. I really like this Co2 growler of theirs but find it odd that I can't locate them online. The mouth of this growler is very large compared to other growlers of similar size so I think your best bet is to find another vendor to get one from. Measure the size of the opening and distance between threads as well as total number of threads. Hopefully that will be enough information to get a second vessel that will work. Good luck!

Question:	Can you force carbonate wine to make a sparkling wine with this
Answer:	Yes you can use this for wine, but the wine won't be as carbonated as you probably might like. It will not have the same carbonation as say a D'asti type wine unless the wine is already carbonated. Answer:	Most microbreweries will fill the mini keg. Some breweries may be restricted to filling up a max of 64 oz. It varies from state to state and their license restrictions.

Answer:	No beer will touch this. The CO2 is pushed through and regulated by this.

Answer:	Hello Regina. They are made of steel and can be put in your normal recycle bins. While this is common in most places individual city rules may vary.
Question:	Does the handle feel sturdy when full
Answer:	Hello! You can use N2O cartridges in the uKeg instead of CO2 to dispense cold brew coffee not nitro cold brew. The uKeg only has a standard tap, so it will not offer the cascading, creamy pour that you'll get from the uKeg Nitro. In addition to having a different tap, the Nitro has a couple of filters in the vessel itself to prevent coffee grounds from plugging it. Cheers!
Question:	Is this dishwasher safe
Answer:	Hi Andrew, You can use the cartridges for beer, but true nitro beer will not happen because that is dependent on beer gas. Beer gas is a combination of CO2 and N2 that we do not supply and is not readily available for purchase in small quantities like 8 and 16 grams. Cheers!
