Answer:	I believe they are 100% nylon, handles too! Machine washable. Not sure about the gloves, they are soft. And the cutters are metal with a plastic top.

Answer:	I would think so. The description says you can put them in boiling water. I wash knives by hand so the edges don't get banged up.
