Question: How does it hold up after a few months of use? How about after a year? I'm tired of no-stick pans that give up after two months
Answer: 6 years.....I received mine in 2013 as a gift from my husband. I used it at least twice a week. I am just now looking to replace it only because it is just beginning to stick a little which I think is due to operator error......that is, letting it get too hot one time too many. I am usually careful about this but occassionally it does happen. If you take care of it, hand wash and don’t jack up the temperature to instantly cook something, it will last you a long time. Until recently, It was rated No. 1 by Americas Test Kitchen for a number of years.
Question: How deep is this pan. How deep in inches from the top of the sides (without the lid) to the inside bottom of the pan. Thanks
Answer: This pan is 2 1/2 inches deep. Iv'e been using it for months and love it. It has worked great for everything I've used it for except frying eggs and that's because I steam then instead of turning them over. There's too much air for the eggs to steam well, so I use an old shallow pan for that. I see some of the other answers say it's only 1 3/4 " deep, but I measured mine and it's 2 1/2.
Question: What is the capacity of this pan in either liter or quarts
Answer: This pan holds 2-1/2 quarts filled to the brim. It is only 10 inches wide and 2-1/2 inches deep. I replaced a similar pan but it was much deeper. I wish my new pan was bigger.
Question: Why do the instructions say not to use these pans on Medium-High or High heat settings? Isn't that completely ridiculous and unrealistic
Answer: Most manufacturers have abandoned PFTE (Teflon), and have switched to safer alternatives, like titanium or ceramic. These newer materials, while safer, still have the same temperature limitations, as any non-stick coating will expand at a different rate than the metal substrate. For similar reasons, you should avoid rinsing a hot pan with cold water if you want it to last a long time.

Answer: The 2.5 qt. has an inside diameter of 7 inches; the 1.6 qt. has an inside diameter of just over 6 inches. I would say neither of them fit your criteria.
