Question:	Can you keep this on while cooking on the stove
Answer:	Since it's made of silicon it's probably good to use while cooking. If you have a gas stove and the flame comes around the side of the pan, the temp may exceed 500 degrees and it may scorch.
Question:	The sleeve did not fit the smallest pan that comes with the Lodge Cast Iron set. Is there a smaller sleeve for that
Answer:	If you read the information published on this listing, it says that this handle is for 10" and larger and then gives you the Lodge number for 8" and smaller. Since the handles vary in size, one pot holder cannot fit all
Question:	Can you leave this on always if you use it on the cook top, and NOT in the oven
Answer:	I have an electric (coil) stove top. I leave mine on all the time. It doesn't get hot when I preheat the pan and it hasnt ever melted. I do take it off when I clean the pan and don't put it back on until the pan has thoroughly dried. I don't have drawers in my kitchen to store it in, but leaving it on hasn't caused any issues for me.
Question:	I read it protects up to 450 degrees, wondering if it's oven safe or only meant for quick use to move the pan from burner
Answer:	Remove it as soon as you put the pan in the oven. Then you can put it back on just prior to removing the pan from the oven. You must realize that it would get hot in the oven just like the pan. The up to 450 degrees is just saying not for use if the pan was heated beyond that temp.

Answer:	I am not sure but it is plenty big and fits all of my different long handled skillets
Question:	Would this possibly slip over an old Revere ware coffee pot handle to protect it when I'm using it on a campfire
Answer:	They didn't fit my pan handles, so I gave them to friends. HOWEVER, just from a practical point, I personally would NOT use them on a campfire.
Question:	Can I leave this on when it's on the oven
Answer:	If you leave it on, it will get hot just like the pan. Use it on the pan to take out of oven and to protect from grabbing hot handles once the pan has been removed from the oven.
Question:	Is this longer than the actual handle for 10.5" skillet
Answer:	My skillet is approx. 10". It was too long for the handle and MUCH too loose. I would have been fine with it being too long IF it had fit somewhat securely. I cut off the end (about an inch) so it would not be too long, and then used it to move my hot cast iron pan to the sink to wash with hot water and my chainmail steel thing. I was holding it as firmly as I could, but the pan SLIPPED OUT of the jacket (the first time I used it) and had there been anything breakable just beneath it in the sink, it would have been broken or shattered. I would recommend this only for the LARGEST skillets -- and even then you won't know for sure until you use it, because it is very roomy within.

Answer:	Yes, there are two handles covers per pack.
Question:	Is this really only good to 275 Fahrenheit? That's only 135 centigrade - almost useless
Answer:	I can say the handle covers get blistering hot when just cooking on the stovetop, Worst thing i have ever bought, useless actually, as they do not fit snug they are loose, and like I said get far far too hot, on my cast irons, even when doing basic frying of bacon!
