Answer:	I brew roobios using the "black/herbal" selection button, 205 degrees. A very good tea!

Answer:	The majority of the parts of the kettle where water or steam touch are stainless steel or glass. There is a narrow rubber seal that connects the stainless steel burner to the glass pot on the bottom and also a rubber seal that helps secure the metal lid to the top of the pot but that is it. I returned several electric kettles before I bought this one and this was the only one that didn't give the water a plastic/chemical taste. Mr Coffee must use a better quality rubber seal than other brands. Hope that helps!

Answer:	We use tea bags, usually the large ones, if you want to use loose leaf tea the small coffee filters would work fine, it has a removeable tray that holds the tea. This is the best tea maker I have purchases Ed, instead of adding ice to the pitcher we fill the picture to the top with water then pour that into another pitcher so we don't over fill it. We put the picher back where it goes to fill, and use the second pitcher to continue to add water as the reservoir is pumped through the tea bages to fill the original pitcher, It will pump untill it's out of water so you get a full pitcher of tea using less bags, or loose leaf because the ice isn't there to delute it. We start with hot tea in the morning and have ice tea the rest of the day as it cools.

Answer:	Yes. However, the pitcher does get hot & was an issue for me because it lives on a wood surface. I bought a single floor tile the same color as my wood surface to solve this problem. Also, the water chamber is a bit small so I fill it twice over the same tea bags. After doing these things I do like the machine & would recommend it.

Answer:	Usually if it’s caffeine free it says so. This has black tea leaves in it so I’m not sure it’s caffeine free. Might be worth looking it up on their website.

Question:	How many bags would I use in a 1 gallon pitcher
Answer:	HI there - it really depends on how concentrated you prefer your cold brew. You may want to look at some recipes online to decide what's right for you. Each of our bags holds 1 cup of coffee grounds. So, for a gallon you'd want to use at least 2 bags (some people would use up to 4 bags for a gallon) We also recommend squeezing the bags once you are done brewing to get any final concentrate out. For extra large batches, please consider our commerial size bags.
Question:	Are coarse grounds required for these filters? Or is it okay to use more fine grounds
Answer:	You can use very fine grounds indeed. One of the advantages to our filters is the fine mesh which filters finer grounds than pretty much anything else available.

Answer:	Yes! Many people use our bags for hot tea & even as spice sacks for soups & craw boils.
Question:	are bags biodegradable? can be used in compost
Answer:	Hi there - our corn fiber bags are considered 'commercially compostable' but generally not back yard compostable because of the decomposition rate. Essentially, they break down better than plastic, fossil fuel based alternatives ( especially under ideal pH and other conditions), but generally are not thought to break down fast enough for backyard composting. Most green composting bins (such as those found at Whole Foods) are processed at a commercial composting facility, where our bags and other bio-fiber based processed items are compostable. 1.) Fill a Cold Brew Coffee Filter with Coarse Coffee Grounds

Fill a filter bag with about 100g of your own coffee grounds -- it can help to use a kitchen funnel or small scooper (coffee not included).

2.) Securely close the brewing bag, then submerge in water

Next, tighten the top of the filter bag by pulling the drawstrings tight.

Then, fill your preferred brewing vessel with cold water (we recommend a 32oz mason jar). Next, put the brewing bag into the water.

Hanging the string out of the top of the jar and closing the lid over the string will ensure the bag is upright, preventing any grounds from escaping the bag.

3.) Brew for 24 hours

Let your submerged brewing bag steep / soak in your refrigerator or at room temperate for 24 hours or until you've achieved your preferred cold press darkness and strength.

Before disposing of your brewing bag, squeeze the brewing bag to get any final precious concentrate. Then, simply dispose of it in the garbage or compsting facility (recommended commercial composting like the bin found at your local natural foods market) then enjoy your amazing cold brew!

Our favorite recipe is homemade cold brew coffee + homemade almond milk. It's delicious and it's healthy. A great way to start the day!

1. Go find a recipe to make homemade almond milk. Honestly, it's so good, so fresh, and also very frothy and creamy. We always add a bit of cinnamon and vanilla into our homemade almond milk.
2. Brew a batch of cold brew coffee with our filter bags.
3. Fill a glass with ice, then pour 1/2 cold brew coffee + 1/2 almond milk.
