Answer:	Probably not, I would not put that much load on it. I doubt the bearing would last very long with that load. I have about 50 lbs on mine.

Answer:	The actual Pully is 13/16” wide. With the bolts it is just about 1 7/8” wide.

Answer:	The screen in the press is fine enough to strain tea leaves and make a fine pot of tea. If the press is also used to make coffee, be sure to wash the screen well to remove coffee brewing oils.

The French press coffee maker is the simplest of all brewing systems, where coarsely ground beans meet hot water right off the boil. The right temperature (92–96 °C, 195–205 °F) brings the optimal extraction power for the essential oils in the beans to develop their full flavor profile in just four minutes. Step 1

French Press - Step 1:

Answer:	Yes, the replacement glass is made and labeled by Bodum. Way cheaper than a whole new press. This is probably the 4th replacement I have purchased for my French press purchased about 15 years ago.

Answer:	Hello and thanks for asking ... as my answer will save you a lot of grief and dollars. Even Bodum coffee presses are different sizes. I ordered this Beeker and it was too wide at the bottom to fit. The company, when contacted, told me that I had to pay the postage back PLUS a 25% restocking fee. It wasn't worth the effort or cost. I would never purchase from this company again. I hope that my answer has helped you. perhaps if you contacted the company that made your press ... they could supply you with the correct replacement . :)

Answer:	Yeah I won't buy this carafe for more than the whole press assembly will cost me. I was looking for a metal nut to replace the plastic one that comes with the Bodum Brazil 51oz that stripped on mine. Turns out the larger cold brew press comes with a metal one which I was able to switch out with the plastic from the Brazil. Apparently the plastic isn't dishwasher safe. But for 20 bucks just get a new press. Crazy

Answer:	Yes. The supplied filter results In coffee grounds in coffee mug with the pore over. I use a paper filter that fits into mesh filter then remove the filter to pore. I have not noted a obvious change in taste in coffee in using the paper filter.
