Answer:	You could brew the coffee or espresso grounds without the ice and then add milk, but this is made to dispense into the tumbler (included) to make iced coffee so I wouldn't recommend.

Question:	I received my tea maker today and the indicator light won't turn on, but the base gets hot, anyone else have this issue
Answer:	It probably works. The light on mine does work, but it's gotta be in a dark corner for me to see it on. In any case, unplug it after it's done working, after 10-12 minutes or so. To better steep tea in this device, bend two jumbo paper clips so they lie flat in the tea bucket but stick down through the little hole 1/2 inch or so. This enables hot water to back up in the tea bucket, and tea bags actually steep. Otherwise, the hole is too large so the hot water runs out quickly, wetting the tea bags but not really steeping them. With this "hack", she's a great tea-maker that takes up minimal counter space.

Answer:	Depending on what your old drip basket was. I didn't check the #'s of the models or pitchers, but they were purchased at least 15 years apart. I am able to use my new and old baskets AND new and old pitchers with each. I use restaurant/commercial size tea bags which make the tea strong. So I split the tea and dilute it to being 2 (TWO!!) pitchers "for the price (labor price!!)" of 1. I use a coffee filter also, as I add a large amt of broken up cinnamon sticks and cloves to give it a different flavor. When I have them, I also use grated orange peel, fresh or dry. Try those ideas and see if YOU like them also.

Answer:	I don't use any ice with my tea. I like it strong. I make a lot of tea to fill a separate pitcher to last me all week. I use 6 tea bags which makes 6 to 8 brews and it gets weaker by the time the separate pitcher is filled. That's what works for me.

Answer:	Hey Nick, I've never seen a gallon size tea bag, so I wouldn't be able to give you an accurate answer. But, to give you an idea, I use 7-8 Tetley British round tea bags with no problem. Sorry, I couldn't be of anymore help.

Answer:	I know you posted this question some time ago, but I received the BVMC-TM33 today, 1/8/15, and the outside of the box states that it is BPA Free. So, if it was questionable before, it's answered now!
Question:	If you broke the glass pitcher, Can you use an alternate container underneath? Is there a switch to prevent this swap
Answer:	Our pitcher was 9.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches top diameter and 5.5 inches bottom diameter. It just broke because of the thin glass problem. Replaced with Classic Pitcher 64oz by US Acrylic which is almost the same size and essentially unbreakable. Even the lid fit. However, note this BPA-free pitcher is plastic which may be a concern for some (the machine is also plastic but not BPA free)

Answer:	We use tea bags, usually the large ones, if you want to use loose leaf tea the small coffee filters would work fine, it has a removeable tray that holds the tea. This is the best tea maker I have purchases Ed, instead of adding ice to the pitcher we fill the picture to the top with water then pour that into another pitcher so we don't over fill it. We put the picher back where it goes to fill, and use the second pitcher to continue to add water as the reservoir is pumped through the tea bages to fill the original pitcher, It will pump untill it's out of water so you get a full pitcher of tea using less bags, or loose leaf because the ice isn't there to delute it. We start with hot tea in the morning and have ice tea the rest of the day as it cools.

Answer:	Not sure which modl you are referring go. I went online to see if I could determine which iced tea maker you have. The 1 1/2 quart design and the pitchers that work with them haven't changed for many years. My tea maker is at least 15 years old. I have replaced the pitcher maybe 3 times. All the replacement pitchers have worked fine. You will also get a new top and the piece that matches the tea maker. If you have a 3 quart, it will not fit. That's the best I can do. I've been happy with all the replacement pitchers I've purchased through Amazon.

Answer:	No it does not have auto shutoff. You cannot tell from the box or the manual (since the manual is generic and covers a large number of models). I called the manufacturer. They said if you cannot see a clock on the front of the coffee maker, then it won't have an auto shutoff. I sent it back since I know I will often forget to shut it off.

Answer:	It comes with a 16 ounce Milk Pitch, that works good. I also bought a nice 20 ounce froth pitcher cause you I only fill 1/3 full on any pitcher as you need room to froth/stretch the milk, so 6 ounces in the 20 ounce pitch allows my wife and i to both have enough for a couple of cappuccinos.

Answer:	In addition to Randy B.'s CommentOne of the Most Important features/ changes to the 870 is the ThermoCoil Change, as the 860 had a Bolt together two Halfs with a seal sandwiched in between the two halfs this was a Possible failure point and could Leak down the road. I have seen reports of the thermo Block of the 860 leaking, But the new 870 uses a ThermoCoil, it is a Full length of Stainless Steel tubing (the water only comes in contact with the stainless steel) that coils around a few times nothing is Bolted together as the tubing is one continuous length to eliminate Leaks, and is surrounded by Aluminum, this alum houses the heater and makes for Fast heating up, for steaming and cooling down to 200 degrees for pulling the shot, so temps are more precise than before. This New ThermoCoil is a big Improvement over the 860 model. I saw a cut away version of both the 860 thermo block and the 870 thermoCoil the 870 is a much better design and should last a long time, as long as you don't run it out of water and burn it up. Question:	I think i may have defective product. Ive been messing around with it for hours and can't create a tornado. Anybody else have this problem
Answer:	Make sure the stirring cup is in the bottom of the pitcher/carafe before you add water and coffee grounds. The dial should be turned slowly; too fast may cause the spinning to stop. Question:	cap screws on when water not frozen, pops off and will not screw on when frozen. Filled to recommended marks. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	1500W is another way to measure amps 1000w is about 10AMP S0 1500W = OR rounds 15AMPS So should work good directly on to the wall what I wouldn't recommend is do never upgrade the braker to a higher number than the electric lines are made to support ex if a 12G cable it's being factory made to it's 20 AMP HIGHEST capacity. Then I will use a 15 AMP BREAKER for regular use and higher safety or as the wire indicates the highest supported amperage that's the highest supported braker amperage that should be used. Wherever it's ok or not, most of people uses cord extensions to connect to. Which is highly risk of fire due to the high electrical flow consumed by electric heaters. If you use the should use a 20 AMP rated cord extension if posible with it's own auto circuit breaker NOTE: "Not recommended" to use cord extensions for electric heaters
Question:	Can anyone tell me how long it needs to be in the freezer to be ready for use? Thanks
Answer:	NO! The heat from the heater flows thru the cord and will melt the extension cord and this is a fire hazard!!! Please do not EVER use any extension cord with ANY space heaters! Very dangerous!!!

Answer:	It doesn't get any room very warm, only direct contact on something.
Question:	How easy or difficult is it to clean? How do you clean it
