Answer:	No. I have thick and curly hair that is normally a tangled mess, but with this straightener I have to use minimal force and it makes my hair look smooth and shiny. I've used straighteners in the past that work well but make your hair frizzy and dry, but with this one you will not have that problem
Question:	Is there any difference between the different colored irons
Answer:	It does have (+) and (-) buttons to regulate and set the temperature. You have 10 options to choose from between 285F and 455F. I’ve used other Relvon flat irons in both Europe and America with just the plug attachment and haven’t had any problems. The Manual of this one says “outside north America use a plug adapter of the proper configuration with the plug before connecting to any outlet” My guess is with just a plug attachment (not a whole adapter that will change the voltage) will work just fine on 220V.

Question:	Does this snag or pull hair
Answer:	It seemed to work on mine and I am African American with very thick especially since I stopped getting perms. Just make sure u are not trying to straighten to big a piece at once and take your time pulling it through. I would use some heat protectant on your hair too because it does get hot. My hair wasn't too nappy either so if you have that problem I would try to comb it a little first but this flat iron should still work in my honestly its pretty good. It should work on 430 or whatever the highest recommended temp the slip in the box said thats what I used.

Answer:	It’s really very light. I don’t know the exact weight, but it isn’t more than a few ounces. I travel a lot as well and it adds practically nothing to the weight of my bag.
Question:	Is this plastic susceptible to damage from rubbing alcohol
Answer:	I wrap the mat around the hot part of the tool, then the cord around the mat.
Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	Oxo claims it is "heat resistant up to 450 degrees". My curling iron is not heated to that degree but I do put it in the case while still hot with no issues.
Question:	What is the big hole in the strainer next to the handle for
Answer:	Yes, it is large enough to fit my 1 1/2" curling iron.
