Answer:	the auger will dig at least a foot down into medium or softer soils. Since it is driven by a drill motor, the user will have the drill motor harm them if it hits something solid. The auger is not the problem. can you wrestle the driver to keep the auger digging? You could use a large drill motor with a stabilizer handle. Also the digging tip is just a pointed piece of metal. it doesn't have a sharp tooth like a post hole digger. Also the diameter is probably not good to fit a 4x4 into the hole. You could use a manual post hole digger to be effective.

Answer:	It is really shame that Chamberlain myQ decided to NOT support SmartThings. After their announcement to support it (which was if I remember 2015 or 2016), I actually switched all of the garage openers to be myQ compatible... which ended in major disappointment because they never got out the integration. There was a manual integration that a SmartThings user did, but even this one is now defunct.
Question:	Why does chamberlain charge a fee when the other devices are free
Answer:	This is a shame and Chamberlain should be embarrassed. It's pathetic. I would rather pay $10-20 more to never pay a subscription fee as long as I own the device. Aonthly or annual fee is just sickening and it's the singular reason why I have not purchased this product. Everything I own is Chamberlain. By including a fee, they have completely ALIENATED A LOYAL CUSTOMER. Am I also understanding this correctly that Alexa does not have a subscription fee for integration?

Answer:	As of lately with these types of devices, they are not recognized as a switch and cannot be controlled as such. You used to be able to say, hey google turn on or turn off the door, then create a routine that turns on when you say open. Well anyway that doesnt work in GH or with Alexa. What you have to do is create a scene, one for each open and closed state, and use those in voice command routines in both Google Home and Alexa

Answer:	There is a misunderstanding for multiple door control. The mobile app can control multiple garage doors, but the device will only control 1 garage door. You will need only 1 account for your mobile app to control multiple Nexx Garage devices, but only 1 Nexx Garage device will control only 1 garage door opener.

Answer:	Yes, make sure you get an installer that pays attention to details and is local. The problem with Amazon Home Services is, they don't always use local contractors, my guy came from around 45 miles away. Best to contact local installer yourself.

You have to connect to the garage door opener via wifi on your phone and then go to the web address stated in the instructions (can't remember off hand). From there it was pretty simple. Took me a while to figure it out. I just hadn't read far enough.

Answer:	No, it is very uncomplicated and works well. In essence you plug a sensor into the garage closer unit, it monitors for the door opening, and then waits a customizable amount of time, tests the sensor, and if the door is open, closes it.It doesn't add any new switches, doesn't circumvent the existing safety sensor and so will not close the door if it is blocked. It cannot be remotely sensed or activated. All your existing existing openers, remotes and keypads will continue to work as they do now.

Answer:	Length of the V920 piston body is 11.25 inches. This includes the pin that holds it to the door but not the shaft that extends and contracts as the door opens and closes. Don't know what the V1020WH length is.

Regular Installation

Suitable for regular installation only. This is the most common installation method, used in over 90% of installations.

The door closer is attached to the door and the arm connects to the top jamb (trim).

Using this installation method, the door closer will 'pull' the door closed.

Parallel Installation

The FS-1306B is not suitable for parallel installation.

This installation method is when the door closer is attached to the door, the parallel plate is connected to the top of the door frame.

Top Jamb Installation

The FS-1306B door closer is also not suitable for installation on the top jamb (trim) installation.

This installation method is when the door closer is mounted above the door, the connecting arm is placed underneath the door closer and connects to the top of the door.

Question:	Can this be installed on a hollow, metal door
Answer:	Yes....this closer has 3 different adjustments. 1) closing speed....you can adjust the speed at which the door closes up until the last 15 degrees or so. 2) latching speed....you can adjust the last 10-15 degrees of closing. Meaning that, just before the door closes all the way shut, you can adjust how fast the door closes fully. This is the adjustment you were asking about. Backcheck valve...this is the adjustment when you open the door all the way to the open position. For example, if the wind grabs the door and whips it open, the closer will catch the door and act as a built in stop. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I cannot speak to the material, but my two dogs and one cat basically ignore the curtain, just pushing it with their heads to open it.

Answer:	No. As with all Velcro I’m aware of you have to have a strip for it to stick to. This is included in the package and it’s sticy but the Velcro hold so well the strip won’t stay on the wall. I stapled mine. This product is great. I have mine in an “outside room and it withstands grandkids rough treatment!!

Answer:	According to the specs it can be used on either right or left handed doors and is reversible. You have procedure for setting it initially depending your door.

Answer:	The master code is for programming, user codes are for unlocking

Answer:	It uses only a 4 digit code and you don't need to drill any holes, it fits into the exiting hole that the replacing lock set occupied, at least it did in mine.

Regular Installation

Suitable for regular installation only. This is the most common installation method, used in over 90% of installations.

The door closer is attached to the door and the arm connects to the top jamb (trim).

Using this installation method, the door closer will 'pull' the door closed.

Parallel Installation

The FS-1306 is not suitable for parallel installation.

This installation method is when the door closer is attached to the door, the parallel plate is connected to the top of the door frame.

If you require a 'push' side installation please check out the Fortstrong FS-6300 door closer.

Top Jamb Installation

The FS-1306 door closer is also not suitable for installation on the top jamb (trim) installation.

This installation method is when the door closer is mounted above the door, the connecting arm is placed underneath the door closer and connects to the top of the door.

Installed on the 'push' side of the door.
