Answer:	If it was made in the USA, I should think they would proudly say so. Country origin is not noted on the dish or on anything else advertised under KOOV. Very nice dish arrived in an inexpensive cardboard box with NO padding! First one arrived chipped, replacement was undamaged.

Answer:	I think you could. It would take a little more time to do individual dishes but I think it would work.

Answer:	Do not remember the BIA Cordon BLue being offered at the time we purchased our HIC dishes. We've had the HIC for a number of years now and they're still excellent. Good quality porcelain that washes well, especially in the dishwasher. We have some of the French Pillivuyt ware, bought at a much higher price, and these are every bit as good. Hope this helps.

Answer:	12 fluid ounces fills the dish to the brim. if you are filling it with a semi-solid (like a casserole), you can heap it to hold slightly more. love the dishes.

Answer:	Aloha from Kansas, Statesides... my ruler only does inches, so if you need metric, you'll need to convert. Our plates are: 10" from tip of handle to tip of handle on the other side; about 5 1/4" or maybe 5 5/16" across widest part at the top; about 1 1/8 not quite 1 1/4" tall at the highest part of the food area, but the handles themselves are higher, around 1 3/4" (side profile is kind of like an Italian gondola boat, with the bow and stern both rising up higher than the sides of the boat.). The bottom oval is about 6 3/4" long by 4" wide. The inside holds 1 cup of water with a nice 1/4-1/2" edge to prevent spillover - although realistically any food you put in will have varying amounts of volume for the weight - ie 8 ounces of a liquid or semi-liquid like sauce, dressings, water, pureed soup might take up less volume (size) than 8 ounces of meat, or might take up more volume for pasta and veggies (fill up more to the top). I believe it's essentially the same size as the entree dishes we see at some Italian or Mexican restaurants. We bought four, accidentally broke one, still have three which makes an entree each, and I want to order more to have on hand for freezing leftovers. My teenager LOVES this dish!
