Answer: I can use 2 in one layer in a 6 qt instant pot and layer another 2 on top but don't know if 2 would fit together in one layer in a 3 qt. I made savoury cheesecakes in mine.

Answer: I baked four mini cakes at the same time and baked them for the same time as I would bake a single cake. If you are unsure, I would suggest that you check the cakes or single cake about 10 minutes early and then monitor their progress. For my recipe, the four mini cakes nicely held the batter equal to a single 8" cake.
Question: How many ounces to they hold
Answer: I am guessing about 4+ ounces. I've only used them once (turned out very well).

Answer: The description of the items says "Hand wash recommended ". I have not put them in the dishwasher, only hand washed them.

Answer: No smaller... mini size...
Question: If i used a standard cheesecake recipe, how many of these individual cakes would i get
Answer: 15 to 18. But there are some many recipes on line for mini cheese cakes out there. Just look. I have 9 recipe so far that I use. These are great pans. You will love it.
Question: Are the sides of each cup percectly straight or do they widen slightly near the top
Answer: They go straight up and down. Not like cupcake tin where it widens at top.
Question: When making a cheesecake, do you individually wrap each one to ensure water doesn't seep I for it's water bath
Answer: I have not used this pan for water bath. What I would do is to cover the hole pan instead of each cavity which would be easier. This pan is good but the circles peeled after the first use, just for you to know.
