Answer:	Hello Hello The strips are good for 2 years sealed. Once the sealed pouch is opened, the strips are generally good for approximately 90 days. Longer if stored in a cool, dry area. The reason for this is that once the reagent pads are exposed to air(regardless of brand), temperature and humidity starts to affect the integrity of the strips. To help lengthen the shelf life, we have packaged our strips into 2 conveniently sealed pouches.

Answer:	I wouldn't really consider the texture either like a gel or powder. It's just a solid deodorant that goes on smooth and invisible. I've never had any problem with it getting any white residue on my clothes, as some deodorants do, and I also like the fact that it is unscented. I'm sorry if this didn't really answer your question.

Answer:	It's lined in plastic. So if the dish is 400 degrees, I think you would want to wrap a dish towel around it first. just in case.

Answer:	The sauce spilled out on one dish and it looked ruined. I put it in the sink and used soap and a sponge then put it outside to dry. It's fine now. I don't think I would put it in the machine because the insulation might be compromised.

Answer:	No heat pad, just the carrier. PBS's Cook's Country (America's Test Kitchen) looked at several casserole carriers and determined this one kept a 9"x13" 180 degrees F ziti casserole hot (140F or above) for 3 hours where the others they tested only did it for an hour. It also determined a 9"x13" casserole dish did NOT slip in this one. This one was their recommended choice which is why I'm getting one. When I bring food to Easter, Thanksgiving, etc. gatherings, I often bring a 12" x 9" disposable lasagna pan full of some veggie dish plus other food in a crock pot. I have a crock pot carrier and heat there isn't a problem because I can plug it in at the event. A 12 x 9 disposable pan may have to sit it inside a 13"x 9" glass or aluminum casserole dish to hold it steady, but that's not a problem for me.

Question:	Can you go straight from the oven to the carrier
Answer:	If you are a pro, shooting for NatGeo or AP Sports (and they pay for it), you should definitely get the EF 200 2.8 IS for $12,000 or more. If not, this lens without IS and obviously not as fast, still gives you quite sharp images (at a fast shutter speed) that can be very much appreciated. Still nice bokeh at 5.6 at this focal length as well and sooo much more easy to haul. If you have something like a 5D III you can go upstairs with the ISO settings and you should end up to be a happy camper and - with a cropped sensor EOS - like the 70D - you got yourself a 650mm f5.6, it ain't so bad either (think birds).

Answer:	The Sigma site says that this lens is compatible with Nikon D40. The autofocus and auto exposure should work well. I use it on a D5000 and have been very impressed with the lens.

Answer:	Yes. The lens is made for all Canon mounts. It fits my 20D, SL1 and 5D Mark II without issue.

Answer:	Hi Christie, yes the 400mm/f5.6L will work just fine with your camera, and since you're shooting with a crop sensor camera, (I think 1.6) his lens will be an 640mm lens on your camera, so you will have a lot of "reach". It is a very nice lens, so have fun with it!!Stephan
Question:	Is it just for transport and hiding the aluminum pan? Or does it also keep the food warm
Answer:	Camera shake will result in blurred images at shutter speeds of less than 1/125 seconds, especially with a heavy telephoto lens. This lens has a fixed f stop of 5.6. Hence the best determinant of whether you can take hand held shot, without image stabilizer, is to take test picture on Aperture Priority Mode at f5.6 and see what the shutter speed is, for that ISO setting. If it is slower than 1/125 sec camera shake is likely. One can increase the ISO setting (ex. from 200 to 400 or higher) and re-check to get a faster shutter response. Photographing birds, one needs to have shutter speeds of at least 1/250 sec to freeze the action, if that is the desired effect. If not motion blur will occur.
