Question:	Has anyone noticed that the hanger scratches the door? Curious if that's an issue
Answer:	Good question and honestly I hadn't noticed or thought to look so I went back to my closet door where I first hung the ironing board holder. No scratches there so I went to laundry room door and can see scratches from my old board holder but not this one. I don't have it bolted since I'm not sure if I will keep on laundry room door where it should be but it's a small space so I'm looking to move to hall closet. But back to answer your question I didn't notice any scuffs with this board holder.

Answer:	Hello... I am not 100% sure (have never washed it) but I see no reason why it wouldn't be. I have had the cover for about a year and have been happy with the quality of it.

Question:	Mine won't collapse when not in use. I even had my husband try and it would not budge for him either
Answer:	I slide the iron down close to the back of the holder and the 2 small tabs slide between the metal bottom plate of the iron and the plastic body of the iron on both sides to hold the iron in tightly. If you have a larger iron they may not fit but then the tabs at the front will hold your iron securely.
Question:	what is the name of the item that keeps the iron cord up and away from the piece you are ironing - it looks like a long spring
Answer:	I could not find a list of irons that fit into it at all. I bought it figuring one size fits all. Nope. My Rowenta Profressional does not fit.
Question:	does this item have the round metal ring at the top as shown or does it have a plastic clip at the top
Answer:	I'd recommend letting it cool down a bit. You can put up a warm iron that is cooling, but I'd avoid a freshly hot iron just for extra protection.
Question:	Was there suppose to be a jamb nuts to lock this in place, the threaded plastic just slides through the hole, it's to small
Answer:	I haven't put the iron in while hot. My iron didn't fit well in the holder until I scraped off some of the plastic on the edges.

Question:	Does this block the door from opening fully
Answer:	The basket part is 13" deep. So if your laundry room door is near the corner of the wall as it opens you will have about 3" of space to open the door fully without the unit. When I put the unit on, it kept the door open a full 10" from the wall. That's a lot. I'm returning mine.
Question:	How much weight can this hold
Answer:	Not sure but I have an ironing board that is not light on it and an iron.

Answer:	I would say no, opening is roughly 1-1/2"
Question:	Do the over-the-door hangers damage the door frame as a result of repeatedly opening and closing the door over time
Answer:	I've only had this item for a couple months, but it hasn't damaged the door at all. I live in an old farm house and the door frame is a bit off on the closing side so there is a little rub mark on the inside top of frame. I open and close this door daily and wouldn't be afraid to use in a newer house. It works very well for my older ironing board, iron and a few other items.
