User questions & answers
Question: | Do these have more padding? than the regular Pinnacle Blues I would like more cushion in the heel |
Answer: | No. |
Question: | How do these compare to Superfeet Black for flat feet |
Answer: | They are a little thinner, but not ultra thin. I found a pair at Walgreens that were excactly what you may be looking for. I think they were Dr Scholls also, made specifically for high arches. Not necessarily for running, but they are very cushioning and use them for running & elliptical workouts:) |
Question: | Do these work well for over pronation |
Answer: | Size up. Then. Trim |
Question: | Can anyone tell me how these compare to the standard Powerstep Pinnacle (non-Maxx) insole |
Answer: | Find a Dr. Scholl's diagnostic machine (Do a search for Dr. Scholl diagnostic machine + your zipcode). Once it diagnoses your foot, it will recommend the exact Dr. Scholl product specific to your foot. |
- Anti-microbial
- Made in the USA

User questions & answers
Question: | To use these, do I need to buy a size up in my shoes? Looking to use them in trail runners to replace the manufacturer insert |
Answer: | They suggest you size up on these and trim them down if they are a little too big to fit perfectly in your shoe. |
Question: | I have very flat feet and have had plantar fasciitis. Do these insoles have a high arch? What's the arch height |
Answer: | My wife has the women's size 7 and the arch is about 7/8" at the highest point with the orthotic sitting on a level surface. I don't think they are unusually high. They are relatively stiff (but comfortable) and probably adjusted for the size to mimic where the arch of the foot should be located. I also had problems with plantar fasciitis on a couple of occasions in the past. Since I started wearing these orthotics, I have not had a problem. If you're having an issue with it now, try freezing a small drinking water bottle (16 oz.) and rolling it under your bare foot for about 1/2 hour (2-3 times per day) while you are sitting down. My doctor recommended this, and worked wonders for me. |
Question: | I have overpronation problems and a high arch. Would these insoles or the maxx be the best choice for me |
Answer: | The Maxx would likely be a better choice for one who has mild pronation issues and a high arch as the heel on the Maxx version is slightly posted (angled) specifically to address that problem. |
Question: | Does anyone know if these are as good as Superfeet Orthodics |
Answer: | I wear Superfeet in all my ski boots and had them in hiking boots and winter boots as well. They last a really long time. However, they did not fully support my high arches in hiking boots and I dreaded long hikes because my feet would hurt so much. I thought this was normal. I tried Powersteps and the difference (after a few short break in hikes) has been dramatic. They corrected my under-pronation much better and no burning feet! And my hips are not longer sore. I agree they don't seem to hold up quite as well, but Superfeet are more expensive. What matters is how they make you feel and that is a trial and error proposition. I like that the Powerstep is as rigid as the green Superfeet. I bought a different but highly recommended foot bed that was soft and does not work as well. It depends on use. and users. These have been great for more athletic uses. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How often do you have to change these |
Answer: | Personally, I did not like these at all. I only wore them for about a month and they made no difference. I would assume if they worked for you, I'd change them out when they showed signs of wear. |
Question: | What or how wide are they for a women's size 10? Are they the same width as the Pinnacle blue |
Answer: | They are identical to Pinnacle, just pink. |
Question: | anyone who has purchased the $50 blue ones only available from the podiatrist. Are these the same density (thickness |
Answer: | Same exact thing, just different labeling. |
Question: | can they be cut to size. I want a 9 but it only came in 9 to 9.5, so I'd need to trim them |
Answer: | Yes, but I would not advise getting a bigger size then trimming. I got a 9, and while my athletic shoes are 9.5 and it fits inside, the arch is not in the right place. Since my dress shoes are 8.5, I assume I need the smaller size so that they fit the curves of my foot properly. They are not returnable, so choose wisely! |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these true to size? I wear a 9 1/2 women's- so I should get the same size |
Answer: | I am a man and where 8.5 shoes with boxy toe room. New Balance Walking/hiking shoes. I have a size 9 set of these insoles and they fit perfectly. I dont know if that transfers to women's sizes and shoes, but it you wore the blue vervsion the plain Pinnacle - they take up about the same amount of space as the pinnacle plus. These are jsut cushier in a very nice and resilient way. Very happy with them. |
Question: | The sizing is confusing though, is a 7 m us a women's size 7? also, i have lost most of the cartilage in my right big toe so it aches. will these he |
Answer: | I checked the Powerstep website before purchasing mine to figure out the sizing. I just checked it for you and a women's size 7 is equivalent to a men's size 5, so you would order a size 5. I can't speak for cartilage loss, but I can tell you that I have had 4 foot surgeries for various problems and using these in my sneakers helps make them a lot more comfortable. I hope this helps. |
Question: | The description says it has metatarsal pad but photos look flat where support would go. Is it just a less flexy foam in that location |
Answer: | Yes, there's raised padding in the location where a metatarsal pad would go. It's pretty firm and works quite well for me. |
Question: | What's the difference b/n powerstep pinnacle plus met vs powerstep full length orthotic shoe insoles original with arch support? haveflat feet, corn |
Answer: | This one has another arch support under the metatarsal which is basically under the ball of the foot. For me it helps take some pressure off the sesamoid bone in which I had an injury. Best I can describe: instead of just the arch support on the side of the foot, there’s also a ‘raised pad’ directly underneath the ball of foot. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Are these one size fits all? I don't see where you select a size |
Answer: | The bottom has kind of a built in trivet. It’s raised with ridges, hard to explain. I still use a cork pad underneath to be safe. It’s so roomy and the top has a rubber gasket. I’m very happy with it. |
Question: | I'm confused here. in the title you have women but the drop down has men's sizes? i need a size 71/2 or 8 for women. are these for women or men |
Answer: | YES It is made in the USA per the label on the top rear of my unit (approx 2 years old) - built very rugged |
Question: | Are these good for plantar fascitis |
Answer: | It is also available in 220-240V, 50/60Hz in the USA through Lercos Foodservice. When placing the order just request that you require it in 220-240V. We keep inventory of this units in both voltages |
Question: | What's the difference between these and the powerstep slenderfit fashion ones? is one more narrow than the other? are they the same thickness |
Answer: | There are notches on the device that indicate proper water levels. But I strongly discourage you from buying this unit. Chose a different brand. I bought 5 of these, had to have two defective units replaced and then returned 3 units that broke within 3 months. Out of 7 units total that we worked with, we now only have two left standing. Fragile and poorly constructed. |

Answer: | I have high arches with tendencies to get plantar fasciitis but do not have the other issues. This shoe has nice support for my issues. |
Question: | is it best high or low pinnacle for plantar fascitis |
Answer: | To answer your question, high or low depends on your foot type (high or low arches). |
Question: | Are these insoles eligible for FSA |
Answer: | Good Morning, Yes, you may use your FSA card for these. Thank you, PowerStep Customer Service |
Question: | Which color should I choose for flat feet with pronation for a woman |
Answer: | Look at the front of the box, lower right corner. If your feet are very flat, get the ones marked "low arch support.' These are orange. Neutral support ones are dark blue. High support ones are green. These examples are for the Powerstep Pinnacle insoles. There are several different models other than Pinnacle, with different features. (Sort of like car models). |

Answer: | This is the first time buying this version but I’ve worn the pink ones for about a year at a time. And they’re much better than the Dr Scholls. I had plantar fasciitis and spend over $100 at first and then found these. These have always been great. |

Question: | I wear a size 9-9.5. Not sure whether to order the slender fit 8-9 or |

Answer: | According to a chart that I Googled it's a size 7. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Do these have a stiff, hard arch support or does it collapse when weight is on them |
Answer: | These don't make your feet sweat. I just learned that they have http://smile.amazon.com/Foot-Petals-Saviors-Washable-Inserts-Pink/dp/B00CGMLMDE/ref=sr_1_1? . These are just like wearing socks at the bottom of your shoe. Perhaps, you would like to review these as they seem they could help. |
Question: | If I'm a women's 8.5-9, what size should I get |
Answer: | 18.5 x 11.18 x 8.74 inches |
Question: | How is arch support with these |
Answer: | The rack sits fixed just below the lid. It keeps the sealed bags from floating above the rack. You must fill the container full, above the rack for it to work. I wish that it could do the same at different levels so that you could reduce amount of water in the container. But it does work. The bags are free to move about below the rack and water level. I do like the clear container and the ability to see the water level and the packages. |
Question: | How do these compare to the Powerstep Pinnacle |
Answer: | The opening measures 3” wide by 3 3/4” long and is not removable. The gasket opening measures 1 1/4” wide by 2 3/4” long. |
