5. Stick film on glass (Put the smooth side to window, don’t put the frosted side to the window)

Some useful tips:

1. Make sure you have peel off the protective film before you install the window covering film privacy film, this is IMPORTANT.

2. The sun blocking window film only works on smooth, clean and flat glass doors and windows.

3. Please remember to leave 2-3 mm gap from the edge of the glass to the film to avoid falling or curling.

4. Spray enough water onto the window and the back side of the film during the installation progress, the more, the better.

How to Install Your Window Privacy Film?

• Step 1: CLEAN THE WINDOW, make sure no stain is left
• Step 2: MEASURE AND CUT FILM, Measure and cut the film at least one inch larger than the glass on all four sides.
• Step 3: REMOVE CLEAR LINER, Peel off transparent backing
• Step 4: Prepare enough diluted soapy water in a spray bottle
• Step 5: Spray the window surface with soapy water
• Step 6: Spray enough soapy water on the back side of the film
• Step 7: Paste the static cling side against the glass
• Step 8: Slide squeegee over the bubbles and excess water
• Step 9: Cut off the redundant parts of the film.

PRECAUTIONS:

The surface to which the film will be applied should be very clean, free of dirt, dust particles, and silicone. Make sure there are no dry spots on the film prior to placing it onto the glass.

Take care that when removing the release liner from adhesive backed films that the film does not roll over onto itself. It will stick together and is difficult to pull apart. Wet the film as the liner is removed!
