I, too, thought it had been re-taped when I first saw it, but in TINY print below the tape is directions on how to open the bag.

Answer:	I would say how much do you use per month an amount of cats you feed.I have 7 cats with different diets.Plus biggest item is cost.I buy a lot when Amazon has it on sale. Wal Mart has a good deal on Friskies brand.I'm not paying an extra $25 per case like Amazon charges.This is $18 for product then shipping fee is $25 per case. I wait until there is no fee then buy large amounts of product.Last time I bought 2 cases each product which totaled 6 cases of 3 different flavors. Maybe Amazon was selling it in the past in the 6 lb. size and did not change the photo for it. If this price is around what you paid, I have always received the 16 pound size and don't know of a 6 pound size being sold any longer.

Answer:	No clue on phosphorus content. I can tell you, however, that it's the only food I've found that my cats can eat & never throw up.

Answer:	In my experience no. My cats will eat too much and throw it back up when it swells up. With this one the kibbles are a little larger and they don’t swell up very much, so no more vomit. I also notice less hair balls or non productive heaving.

Answer:	I feed my 13 yr old cat the sensitive stomach since she started vomiting up the other dry food she was on (and wet food for that matter). This food has been amazing for her! Answer:	This is a chicken and brown rice blend and it is a 15 pound bag. Since it contains brown rice, barley, and oatmeal, I don't think it's technically "grain-free". However it does not contain any corn, wheat, or soy products.The ingredient list does include different veggies (sweet potato, peas, etc) as well as antioxidant-rich fruit (pomegranate, blueberries). There are a variety of supplemental vitamins added, too. As with all Blue Buffalo products (I think), the first ingredient listed is meat (in this case deboned chicken) so that constitutes the greatest proportion of all the ingredients listed. It also notes that it doesn't contain any chicken/poultry by-product meals.

Answer:	The first ingredient is chicken-by-product meal (whatever that is). It is not grain-free. It contains corn meal, soy flour, and brewer's rice. Answer:	16 lb = 64 cups. I use 2 cups per day for my cats and it lasts for a month. If you only have one cat it should last 2 to 2 1/2 months depending on how much you use.
