Question:	Can I use these in my apartment where there are already existing permanent blinds (not blackout ones) which I cannot remove
Answer:	The blinds are about 1 1/2 inches in depth. If you have room between the permanent blinds and the window they should fit. The top sticks to the window and unfolds downward as far as you want. They provide a clip to set the height.
Question:	Is it sturdy enough to be taken on and off daily, without ruining the adhesive
Answer:	A simple solution to mounting them daily is to use push pins or thumbtacks. If you cannot push them into wood to hold the blinds at the top of each side then use a tiny hammer or the rubber handles of a pair of pliers. When you leave if you're worried about the holes created by use of pins or tacks just spackle them with wood dough. You might use the same holes to push the pins into.
Question:	what kind of tape to use
Answer:	does the included adhesive tape at the top damage the wall/ceiling when the blind is removed. I only need them for one week.
Question:	How well do these block out the light? I need something that completely blocks the light out. Anyone got a picture of how well these work
Answer:	You can use scotch tape (or any other good tape) and use black trash bags which you likely already have to black out the window for significantly cheaper than these. I used a 30 gal 1.2 mil trash bag on my window which covered the whole thing, and it blocks out about 95% of the light. The drapes then block out the rest creating total black out. If you were to buy the heavy duty "yard trash bags" that are 2 mil or thicker, I guarantee those would blackout a window alone. A 50 gal yard or construction trash bag would cover a huge window. With my drapes (which I never open) you can see the trash bag either so it doesn't look bad. The window its on faces my backyard so nobody will ever see it outside. This window unfortunately faces east so the rising sun beams in my window and I work nights and come home to go to sleep in the morning. This works like a charm!

Answer:	They are metal snap in. You mount two snaps either at the side or top of you window, then just pop the set of blinds in place.
Question:	Can I use this in a 36x36 opening
Answer:	Will fit exactly in 36 inch wide opening. For 36 inch length, the blind would not be able to extend its entire length, but the slats still adjust as described and look fine.

Answer:	No, these are for adult turtles. My turtle, however, is as large as a male box turtle is able to get - which is a good-sized turtle (over a 7" shell) but he won't go near them. They look and smell something like balls of manure rather than seafood. I ended up throwing them out.

Answer:	If you measured the actual window frame, you should order a 36" because the actual shade the send you will be 35 and a half inches.
Question:	Are these blinds installed using box end brackets
Answer:	NO they are not. They are some completely different mechanism to hang. You have to either mount them to the ceiling of your window frame, or to the wall on either side of the window frame! I have yet to figure out how the heck this thing works. The blinds do NOT fit standard box end brackets like most miniblinds.

Answer:	Yes, I think the length could be trimmed, I plan to shorten mine. I plan to 'seal' the entire 'cut area', BEFORE cutting the new bottom, with super glue or somesuch so the threads don't come loose (from my new bottom portion and the new top-for-another-use). Then, move the roll-up string off of the blinds, trim (middle of the glued area), replace the string. Maybe secure-glue the cut areas again. Anyone have any cautions about this plan?

Answer:	These blinds come wrapped in plastic, with an instruction sheet that explains how to hang the blinds. If you have lost the instruction sheet, it should be easy enough to use the screw-in hooks that are enclosed and hang the shade. The round hangers on the blinds hang over the hooks.

Answer:	To lower and raise the shade you have to do so manually with your hands. There are 2 clips that come with each shade so you can clip the shade up to your desired length or just let the shade hang on its own with no clips, which is what I usually do and they rest on the window sill or I clip the shades from the back side so I don't see the clips when I put the shades up.
