| Answer: | The best string I have found for a typical bass fishing baitcasting reel is Runcl 30lb Powerbraid (braided) fishing line. I have replaced all of my baitcasting reels with it. It cast far, accurate, and smooth. It takes knots very well, especially blood knots and improved palomar knots. The line has absolutely zero spool memory, which is a huge improvement if you are not in the business of dealing with bird's nest and the likes. This string is good for those anglers (like myself) who have tried using Spiderwire, monofilament, and fluorocarbon and have found those lines to be a real nightmare. And you just want to go out and fish with some descent equipment and not get stressed out from using the wrong stuff. I highly recommend giving the Runcl Powerbraid line a try. You won't be disappointed. |

I own the pro rockets and the c3 7000. Believe it or not they are practically the same when fishing. Both will haul in monster fish. The pro has a little bit better bearings. I always replace my bearings with the ceramic. Of you are not comfortable doing that take to a repair shop. Great reals. |
