Answer:	First of all, is your pine board a true 1" thick or is more close to 3/4" since dimensional boards thinner than the label states. Either way, I don't recommend these brackets for a 1" pine board. Being a soft wood and the fact that the rod is pretty thick on these brackets, I don't think the shelf would be very strong. I used mine on a 1.5" thick cherry board and it worked great.

If they are mounted on a dry-wall then be carefull with adding above 50 lbs on the shelf, but for brick-wall or concrete-wall it can hold 75 lbs. Hope it helps! Answer:	They are not ideally suited for 2" blinds, but will work OK if you use the right screws. If you use these with 2" blinds the screws you use could obstruct the blinds from moving if they have big heads on them. if you use screws with low-profile heads you'll probably be OK. I used mine with screws that had a large head on them and had to make a couple of very small notches in my bottom blind so it wouldn't snag on the screws.
