Answer:	I received these as a gift and they are beautiful! They are already arranged, with the bottom of stems wrapped in a waterproof paper, and damp material inside to keep them moist. I did cut the stems (but I kept them together as arranged so it was just a matter of some quick snips), then placed them in the vase with no re-arranging necessary. They make a phenomenal bouquet. Mine were very fresh, with the roses and alstroemeria just beginning to open. From experience with roses, I expect these to stay fresh at least a week and possibly longer (and alstroemeria often lasts for at least two weeks). They also arrived on the correct date. I have high standards when it comes to flowers, and these are as beautiful as any I have had arranged and delivered by the most expensive florist in town. I highly recommend.

Answer:	Yes, they arrive in a box, but are already arranged, and crushproof the way they are packaged. The recipient only needs to snip the ends of the stems and place them in the vase that comes with them. They were fresh and as beautiful as any I have ever had delivered by the local florist. Answer:	The spike do not come off but they are a bit flimsy. The vase is sturdy but it took a few try to get it in the ground without tipping over. Next time I may use less flowers or artificial flowers.

Question:	Product is described as Patriotic, but picture doesn't show. Are they plain as shown in picture
Answer:	Yes, they are plain green cones. I don't know why someone called them patriotic. My father is a WWII Veteran, and we obtained from the local VA rep the appropriate grave marker and a veterans' WWII bronze marker for the grave. These are indeed just plain. But we all really liked them -- very easy to fill with flowers from your own garden.
