| Answer: | It will depend. You will want to wipe off water before sitting on it as water will collect between the ribs. Life time in direct sun will be approximately 2 years. It is black and will adsorb a great deal of UV and this will degrade the plastic over time. Water from condensation may collect underneath the plastic. If your goal is to protect the finish it is most likely not the best solution unless it is a temporary cover. If the goal is a temporary cover during storms or to prevent wear along and not a polyurethane finish then it will be a good for this application. Thank you for your interest. |

When I unrolled the whole length, and I needed the whole length, I had to weigh down the end because it wanted to curl again. After a day with another carpet on the end to hold it down, the curling memory was eliminated. |
