A mat is also prvided with the frame that is for a picture that is 5"x7" and the mat opening is cut to about 4.5"x6.5" sp that the 5x7 image edge is covered by .25" on all four sides. Answer:	It totally depends on how big everyone signs their name, of course, but we used it for our 50th birthdays and we have approximately 35 family signatures (meaning many people signed for their spouse and/or children) so approximately 55 names. It's pretty full, although we could have definitely added about 10-15 more names (that would have made it crowded, and it wouldn't have had the white space you see in the photo.)

Answer:	Yes it will, the frame actually comes apart and you clip the edges back on your poster.

Answer:	I never use a gesso board but this is a snap in place frame so I would say if the gesso board is the flat thin type then yes.However, I am using it for Poster Pictures with the thin cardboard as the backing and it works and look perfect.
Question:	How thick is the mat? I have a quilled piece that I don't want to get smashed
Answer:	The frame fits a 16 x 20 photograph exactly. So I imagine if your puzzle is that size it should work. There's enough depth also to accommodate the thickness of a puzzle. Great quality frame as well.
Question:	What is the exact size of the opening in the 11 x 14 - 5 x
Answer:	It can. The rails are channels that slide over the clear plastic front piece and your art work. The frame comes with nice thick backing board but since you will be using a matted piece, you will probably discard that board. I have three matted pieces done with these frames and because of the thickness of the matting, the channel rails were a tight fit and consequently the corners aren't as tight as they should be. If your art work is at all important, I would step up a notch and get a bit nicer frame. Plus using non-glare picture glass is a big benefit over the plastic used for these frames.

Answer:	The stand folds into the back of the frame, so it is flush with the frame. We hung the frame with the stand attached. But it can be removed or taped, to hold in place if you wish. There is a clip that can be positioned for hanging either in the vertical or horizontal position. FYI - we used the 3M Command velcro strips to hang our pictures.

Answer:	There are little metal tabs all around the frame that you push or slide under the frame after inserting the picture. NOT the tabs that you pull up and push down while getting a picture in and out of the frame. Unlike what another person answered, I do not think the frames are a cheap or horrible investment. I wanted all the same frames on my hall display wall......these are well made, elegantly simple black frames. If you want ornate, these are not for you. Re the foam on back of picture.....you can leave out the cardboard filler that comes with the frame and maybe it will work?
Question:	What is the entire size of the frame? In other words, is the 11x14 frame actually 13x16 if you include frame in measurement
Answer:	Yes, the frame is larger so it will fit an 11x14 photo.13x16 is not a standard developing size for pictures.
