Answer:	Because the 1-pack was out of stock. You're only other option was 24 packs. Had the same problem, I believe.

Answer:	Its white silk cloth tape, not coated on the side without adhesive. If you write on it with ink, the ink will slowly wick along the fibers and the writing will gradually smudge. Depending on how old your fashion is, you could be thinking of a canvas cotton tape with a heavy layer of white paint or plastic. I haven't seen the coated canvas tape lately. White 3M electrical tape takes ink well and the rate at which it smudges is as slow as the white coated canvas tape, i.e. low cost ball-point pen remains legible for at least 5 years, which was longer than the adhesive on the coated cotton tape lasted, fine point felt tip lasts for more than 10, and the limit is not smudging. While the adhesive on the 3m electrical tape will last almost indefinitely, my experience has been that ink from Sharpies faded after 12 to 15 years.

For Nexcare tape rolls that do not come with dispensers, run your finger around the roll until you feel a ridge. This is the edge of the tape. Use your fingernail to lift up the edge, then unroll whatever size piece you need. The tape tears easily by hand, so no need for scissors.

Tip: turn a short piece at the leading edge of the tape under to create an easy starting point for the next time you need it.

How do I remove a bandage/tape or dressing that will not release easily from my or my child's skin?

If a bandage, tape or dressing is not easily releasing avoid pulling on it, instead work a little baby oil or cooking oil into the adhesive to help the product release from the skin. Or use ice (covered with a paper towel) for 5 minutes or less. Ice will make the adhesive brittle, which may cause it to release.

Answer:	I ended up using paper tape instead of this tape because this tape holds so securely. It ripped hair and hurt to remove it. I have thin skin and it left red smooth marks on my skin after it was removed. I think it peeled a layer of skin off. So if adhesion is what you want this will give you that. It is tough and waterproof. Good Luck.

Answer:	No. Not at all. The best waterproof tape is that sticky, thick sports tape. However, if tape is really harsh on your skin and even peels your skin off, I wouldn't recommend sports tape.

Answer:	I was terminally ill (miracle recovery). After the illness (lost 50 pounds in 2 months), the skin on my neck was suddenly saggy (I'm not that age yet). So, until I can pay off my hospital bills, and then save for work on my neck, I use this, sometimes, to tighten the skin on my neck when I have someplace I have to see people who don't know about my illness. It holds well under regular circumstances but will need readjusting or reapplication if you are sweating a lot or turning your head a lot. So, when I go out, I carry a small roll in my purse.

Answer:	It is easier on the skin than a lot of others but it still sticks really firmly. It is going to be really rough on baby skin. 3m makes another product Nexcare Sensitive Skin tape. It is light blue. I never found it in bulk packaging but it is the easiest on skin that I could find. Another tip btw, use alcohol on cotton swabs to loosen the glue on the tape when you remove it. Eventually it will dry out the skin but it makes removal less painful.

Answer:	we purchased the 3m 1535-1 micropore surgical tape, 12 in a box, it's a lightweight paper tape, worked perfectly for my mom, in treating her for a bedsore on the heel of her foot after applying the gel and gauze. this paper tape was then used to keep the gauze in place, easy to put on, and cut easily every morning to apply a fresh dressing

Answer:	The exact same thing happened to me. When I turned the box over I saw the wrong SKU sticker on the box. I ordered 12 rolls of 1” tape, but received 6 rolls of 2” tape. Not sure if it’s on the Amazon fulfillment site or the supplier site that made the mistake. It’s truly aggravating!.

Answer:	If you expect bleeding or oozing from the puncture sites, it may be better to use gauze or another dressing which are absorbent capabilities and then secure them with this tape. Please discuss this matter with your plastic surgeon as well.

Answer:	I did use what I thought was the same thing on a tummy tuck scar and it worked great. So I ordered this for another surgery scar. What I received does not stick at all. Not even the slightest bit. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it was a complete waste.
