I went to move it back on the counter, and I almost burned both hands. My wife tried touching the sides, and the same thing happened. It's much too hot to handle. We're sending it back.

Answer:	I would be careful as I had one fall. The actual hinge itself bent on the wall and the mirror fell cracking onto my granite sink. The company did send another but I did not hang the replacement in the same bathroom.

Question:	Why is the light white when off and blue when on
Answer:	The control box on the back of the mirror is in the lower part of the mirror when mounted vertically and on the right end when horizontal, viewed from the front. There is a cord that can be hard wired or plugged in to an outlet on the wall in the center portion of the mirror. I added a second cord to power the defog panel separately and switched it with the vent fan.

Answer:	2 Settings. Traditional light bulb color 2500 to 3000 Kelvin and Daylight 4000 Kelvin.
Question:	Is there a blue dot on this mirror? Is it visible? It's present in some pictures but not in others
Answer:	It weighs less than 10 pounds, the 2 anchors supplied are plenty to hold the weight, we bought the 28x36 and my wife carried it with one hand easier than a gallon of milk.....
Question:	is the mirror bright enough to be the only light source in the room
Answer:	Not a plug and play replacement of the LED, it would probably require a return to the factory unless you had mad soldering skills. If you ran it 12 hours a day, it would last 11 years on average. I had purchased other brands of LED mirrors for my other house, these are the "Mercedes" of LED mirrors.

Answer:	No. I have the smaller mirror installed in a small (5 x 5) bathroom with light(ish) colored walls and it does not sufficiently light the room on its own. It does a good job illuminating the person using the mirror.
