Answer:	Hello, the flax seed and herbs are sewn directly into the elephant so there is no pouch. Sootheze does sell a couple other items on amazon with a pouch you can remove like the drooper Sr. The elephant can be surface washed with a damp rag sponge. You just can't soak it or put it in the wash. I hope this helps.
