Answer:	There are no pulleys under the drawer, but there is metal support.

Answer:	I placed an order the other day for both this shelf and the 3-2-1 cube...my order was confirmed and later cancelled due to "technical problems" and then the prices were raosed for both. Technical problems. Who knows if the prices will drop but I would not recommend buying from them anyway.

Answer:	each square is (roughly) 1 foot cubed (12" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep). So a 3x3 square organizer is 3'x3'x1'. the 2x3 square organizer is 2'x3'x1'. However, the inside of each cube space is more like 11.5"x11.5"x12" (or a little more if you set it away from the wall. for clearance, I'd say that any basket or canvas tote that measures 11"x11"x11" will work fine. Again, I used the standard canvas totes that they sell at walmart and it looks pretty sharp. hope that helps! (also, sorry it took me a while to reply over the holidays!)

Answer:	Thank you for the inquiry. We recommend adjusting the doors by turning the hinge screws. An example of this is in the installation and assembly manual, which is available to view on the Amazon product page for reference.

Answer:	Yup! It's all screws so you can just remove them. Tip: You can screw firmly, but not as tightly if you want easier disassemble, especially if just using your hands and a screwdriver.

Answer:	My instructions were way off. I had to use my brains for a logical fix. My instructions didn’t look like it was drawn right for the detailed finish.I would suggest doing a layout of it with some support (either propped against something or another person) and match up all of the parts. Question:	Could you set this up as 2 shorter shelfs side by side
Answer:	You would need to check your rack to see in the poles unscrew in the middle. I get the impression there were different versions of these racks. If they do you need a set of 4 caps, 4 threaded inserts and 4 casters or levelers. Check your pole size too, likely either 1” or 3/4” depending on the version.

Answer:	super simple assembly. take 2 peices of the black thingies. they should have a mark saying top or a dot or something. they are conical so you snap them together on the legs. start on the near bottom of a leg on a ring and slide the cap till it snaps in place. do all 4 on the same ring, 1 level at a time.so caps, snap, shelf. the 1st shelf is the trickiest but once the second shelf is in place it has better stability. if this is not helping, try youtube.
Question:	I'm very frustrated. the plastic shelf holders are not snapping and staying closed what am i doing wrong
Answer:	I've purchased several of these and just have one more thing to add from the other comments. First, from the other comments you can gather that the pieces do not snap together with each other - they snap to the vertical poles. That's an important point left out of the instructions. Second, where most are saying hold them together and slide them down the vertical pole until they snap, you can do that but they most likely will snap in the same location, giving you same size shelves. The shelves are adjustable, so if you want different heights for each shelf, find the groove on the pole that is closest to giving you the shelf size you want. Then you can, making sure the arrow of the 2 interlocking pieces point up, just lay both pieces close to the groove and then you can slide them up or down to find the closest place to that spot where they will snap. One more thing is you need to make sure you put the shelf over the 4 poles as level as you can. Even though the pieces snap onto the pole, they can be knocked off if the shelf hits them too hard on one side or the other if you try to place it on askew. Doesn't have to be perfectly level - I did it by myself - but somewhat hitting all 4 clips at the same time and coming down over them as close to the same time as you can. The lip of the shelf has to be down in order for the shelf to slide over top of the interlocking pieces on each pole - that's what holds them together. Will not work with the lip up. I am a 60ish female with no real mechanical abilities so the first one was the hardest because the instructions left out key points. Hope this helps (I have put together about 5 or 6 of them now in my garage).

Question:	Are they heat resistant? I want to place a heating lamp on top of my hedgehog’s pen using these to hold the lamp
Answer:	These are metal. They will conduct heat. I would think that if exposed to concentrated heat for too long they may damage anything on which they are sitting unless it is something like tile, stone, concrete. Just my guess.
Question:	Can i stack 4 high together
Answer:	I would certainly think you could stack them 4 high - but with a caution to test for stability, because these are light weight and you need to be sure they won't tip with what you put in them. You need to be sure the bottom cubes have more weight in them than the top cubes (and frankly, if I were stacking them 4 high, I would have a minimum of 3 across as a base, and then 4 high, and still be sure the bottom cubes had more weight in them), or at least figure out some way to perhaps attach them to a wall for stability.
Question:	Can I put 12” cubbies in this stand
Answer:	Hello, thank you for your question.The modular unit measures 11.8 by 11.8 inches inside each square, and the 12-inch cubby is a bit large for the square, It is recommended that you use a cubby of about 11 inches

Answer:	If you google 'connectors for wire cube storage', you will see a number of sellers, including on Amazon. Saw a set of 4 for about $7. They seem to fit universally.

Answer:	It is free standing and fairly stable, I wouldn't consider doing that however if you have younger children that climb or may climb on it.

Answer:	Not at home to measure but I would say in the center probably about 6 in, you won't notice it, it won't get in the way. I love it it's a godsend on a bi-level without a coat closet upstairs.

Answer:	If back packs placed on the bottom, would not need to hang. I would hang if back pack is hung from the hook as a heavy bag could pull the unit forward. Especially if multiple backpacks being hung

Answer:	Yes, the pieces slide and "lock" into one another, but you could leave them out entirely. They are the last piece to go in!

Answer:	I am using mine outside as part of a gardening work area. The black coated ones do not trust and hold heavy ceramic pots full of dirt. If you are not securing to a wall, put heaviest stuff on the bottom to avoid tip over.

Answer:	The 3 shelf unit is 30" high (less than 3'). I purchased the 4 shelf unit, which is 54" (4' 6" tall). These are very well made and very adjustable, to fit your needs. Good luck!
Question:	Can you buy an extra shelf to have a total of 4 shelfs
Answer:	I needed a 4- or 5-shelf system with the same overall dimensions of this 3-shelf system. I bought two 3-shelf systems and cannibalized 2 shelves and 8 clips from the 2nd set to make a 5-shelf system. I have one extra shelf with clips if you want it. Just pay shipping.
Question:	Can I buy 2 and stack them together
Answer:	You can stack two together (I think). You need a connector. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Gizhome-Diameter-Connectors-Shelving-Replacement/dp/B07JB5XD59/ -- HOWEVER, these come in different thicknesses. I'm seeing one at 1.0mm and one at 1.2mm, both saying "for 3/4 inch poles". I'm gonna order it and see if it works.

Answer:	Booklet that comes with the item says each shelf can hold a maximum of ten pounds.

Answer:	I think doing that would jeopardize the stability of the unit, especially since it only has 3 legs, it really needs the shelves - especially the bottom one which adds a 4th "foot" in the center to help keep it from tipping forward. It might work if you have it very well anchored into the wall though, but I wouldn't really recommend it.
Question:	Is it stable on the carpet
Answer:	It is not that stable on carpet - specially if it is fluffier bedroom carpet like mine. I ended up only adding light items on them because I was scared it would tip over.
