Answer:	Yes you can see the display with battery power, you just have to push the button on top of the unit to make it "light up". The backlight only stays on for about 15 to 20 seconds then goes off to conserve battery power, but even when it's off you can still see the information on the display. Geevon Indoor outdoor thermometer has WWVB function( -8 PST、-7 MST、-6 CST、-5 EST).The atomic clock and calendar set to the correct time and date automatically and adjust for Daylight Saving Time. The time of RCC syncing is 1:00a.m.,2:00a.m.,3:00a.m.,4:00a.m.and 5:00a.m.

Geevon weather stations can be connected to 3 outdoor remote sensors within 200ft in an open area at the same time, which means you can put them inside your patio, backyard, garden or courtyard,easily monitor outside conditions without going out.
