Answer:	This unit includes both a thermopile and thermocouple. Thermopiles MAX at 750mv, but normal run range is from 250 - 400 on regular burn. It will not normally ever reach 750.

Answer:	Yes, this has the air inlet holes. That is not white compound, that is built up dirt and cob webs. You need to clean the holes out.

Answer:	The thermocouple is probably bad. My pilot would light, but not stay on once switched off pilot mode, until the thermocouple was replaced. It's a cheap fix and I hope this helps.

Answer:	there are two different settings! If you click the "on" button once, they will slowly twinkle, and if you click it again, it will go to a full "ON" setting where they lights just stay on. click it one more time to turn them off!

Answer:	No it is not on the product or the box. Not in the info either. Do they have to be UL listed? I had another question earlier which I am going to answer as well was the length. I measured myself the length I measured was 9' 10" lights only and cord attach to on/off switch is 10" in length including the switch. I have used these led lights they are great to decorate at Christmas they work really well and are quite bright. Would be great for any event!

Answer:	It can be as small as 24 inches and as long as 48 inches at least. There are two slots in each end piece to stabilize.

Answer:	it can be attached either way. All depends on what kind of fireplace/mantle you have. I attached mine right to the firebox because I didn't want to drill into the bricks.

Question:	i have a skytech-3001 what would the ultimate replacement
Answer:	The 3001 is discontinued and replaced with the 3002 model (timer and thermostat). The 3301 model that's listed is a programmable remote and will also be compatible.
Question:	My remore is synced to transmitter but doeant turn on fireplace
Answer:	Check the following: 1. Pilot light on logs is on and burning. 2. all batteries in both the transmitter and controller have output voltage if at least 1.5 volts. 3. if you change any batteries you need to resyc. 4. Transmitter is a POS. my system is about six years old and I have replaced the transmitter several times. If any of the buttons do not function, the only cure is replacement. Check the instructions that came with your logs. Hopefully there is a "manual" position on the gas valve that bypasses all the remote stuff that is not working.

Answer:	Shelia please call Skytech at 877-205-8601. There are steps associated with setting the unit up. I am unsure what specifically is not working with your unit, the folks at Skytech will walk you through the setup and warranty the unit if required.
Question:	would this be able to be added to propane logs that currently just have a manual on and off switch
Answer:	I would assume that you could because the new unit control box has on- off and auto HOWEVER it would naturally be safer to ask a qualified installer e.g. who would normally come in to clean your unit and take readings to make sure your oms and gas pressures etc are correct. I had my totally serviced and cleaned (including washing of filter for non-vented unit)for $125 after receiving my new unit. Also then adjusted fan speed flame height to my liking. Anytime you're dealing with gas/propane it's best to have a qualified person in. It's worth the piece of mind for $125
