Answer:	Yes this food is Miniature Schnauzer which we have and it the best dog food we have found it is ideal for small dogs, its great for his coat and his digestive system.

Question:	does this product have high fat content
Answer:	The packaging does not display the same kind of information that the food we eat does. Whereas our food shows the amount of fat in terms of amount in grams the Royal Canin Food displays what they label as "Guaranteed Analysis." It indicates the "Crude Fat" makes up 12.5% of the contents of the food. I could not tell if that is high relative to other dog foods but I can tell you that Royal Canin has a Low Fat food called "Gastro Intestinal." Not the most fetching of names I know, but its fat content is labeled at 5% (less than half that of the Miniature Schnauzer food). You might want to look at that if you are concerned about the amount of fat in your dog's food. Our mini schnauzer has always eaten Royal Canin Mini Schnauzer mixed with their Mini Adult 27 and been happy with it. And he has never had any problems with his weight. But, we are in fact switching to the "Gastro Intestinal" at the suggestion of his vet because he is getting older and he gave us a little scare recently with an inflammation in his bowels. Good luck.

Answer:	That’s really expensive! This food does wonders for their coat and we haven’t had any “schnauzer” bumps. I actually do a 50/50 mix between this and the Kirkland’s small dog food-breath is better also.

Answer:	When I order the description of the product tells whether it is a 10 lb. bag or what it is. The price also is a big hint to me. What I ordered has always been 10 lb. bags.

Question:	The ingredients is not listed correctly. The main protien which is the 1st ingredient listed should be "Chicken Byproduct Meal". As so on the package
Answer:	Thank you for posting this. I didn't know that this was happening so I checked with the company. They did, indeed, confirm that they are switching to chicken byproduct meal, although they insist that they are using only "clean" byproducts. I do not wish my dogs to eat any byproducts at all so I will not be using this dog food any more. It's a shame that they feel they need to cheapen their great product to make more money.
