Answer:	No it does not show the room temperature. I have another one which is the same product. This model has not been able to get the temps right. When you set the temp it will actually get two degrees hotter. My older heater will get the temp exactly what it set to.

Answer:	Not sure what the Amperage draw is, as the ratings on the product are: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, 1500 Watts. I make sure that it is plugged directly into a wall outlet with no other devices, on a household circuit breaker rated at 15 Amps. This product is designed differently than one other I have, as it does not display the actual room temperature. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The heater does turn off when it reaches the appropriate dial you set . However , there are no degree marks so you’ll need to experiment which graphic you prefer to set . I’m in the south so I set in middle . Watch your return time as I’ve bought a few and one lost heat element and only rotated to one side but Amazon replaced immediately. It’s a small compact heater /fan and my best purchase in place older high towers not cost efficient.

Question:	Does the unit include its wall mounting kit or does that come seperate
Answer:	I would say you can put the heater about 3 to 4 feet away from you but here's the problem with this heater it puts out a lot of heat from 3 different settings low, medium, and high the problem is most of the heat rises off the top of the heater head. Yes it radiates heat out the front of it but not as much as you would think. You have to be close to it to feel any of the heat radiating off of it. If you were in an enclosed area this heater works GREAT for heating up areas really fast and to the point of baking you alive in a tent, camper, small work garage area or for emergency use type situations. If you guys huddle around it and put your hands above it and rub your hands together to keep warm I guess you would be fine but don't expect it to push a lot of heat out towards you guys as you sit there.
Question:	Will it turn back on after a power outage
Answer:	What does "Windproof" mean to you? Will the MH15 stay lit in a mild breeze? Yes. Can it be blown out by a strong wind? Yes. The biggest problem is starting the MH15 in a moderate wind - the propane has to burn in free air for a short time to heat the combustion grid to red heat. One the grid is red hot, the propane flame tends to stay lit. During this heating period, the flame is more vulnerable to wind.
Question:	What is the noise level
Answer:	The 1# tank will ice up and slowly turn off the heater on anything but the lowest setting. That lasts about 2 hours. A little buddy heater with 4K/9K Btu works best with the 1# cylinders. I have the hose hookup for a 20# tank and it's nice to have the option of using either size. You have to light this one with a lighter which is just another thing to forget to pack.

Answer:	As far as I know... No. A simular thing happened to me. I reattached the grill using good old fashioned wire hanger twisted. This was only a temporary fix.

As many other customers acknowledged, it does make occasional faint clicking noises that are not an issue for me. As it heats up, my unit makes a fairly loud popping noise. It only happens as the oil is heating up or, sometimes when cooling down. I don't think somebody on the other end of a phone call could hear it. The noise frequently catches me by surprise and startles me, but it's still not an issue.

Louder fans usually produce better heat because it blows it out farther. This one certainly gives you a lot of heat.

Answer:	It's designed to be mounted on the wall. The manual seems to mention some legs, but it looks like they borrowed the manual. I just bought some angle iron, and made my own legs.

Answer:	There are specific clearances around the heater delineated. However short answer you need to use in buildings with high ceilings,15 feet or better. Mine is in a garage 30 ft by 30 ft woth 19 ft ceiling. Venting is through rooftop center line vent that runs the full 30 ft at the V peak of the roof. Thete are also requirements for location of any flammables like paint and oil. Car parking needs to be considered also(painted surfaces). Works good. Only used a fee times beforr weather got hot. Online instructions are clear and contain all the clearance info you need. I did all the work except the finall gas hook up and leak testing. This part was demanded by the wife for obvious reasons.

Question:	can you mount this on a wall or something
Answer:	The heater does not have any mounting holes. The internal fan, which is quite a good size (and VERY quite), draws in air from the back through an approx. 5" round vent. With this in mind, the fan could be placed on a small wall hanging shelf (that would allow the rear fan vent to draw in air without obstruction; given that the back of the heater would have at least 2-3 inches of clearance). It would be very "do-able" and very easy to construct. In my opinion, using wood as material should not create any safety concerns, as the ENTIRE plastic housing is not even warm when the unit is on. Great question and idea!
Question:	does it start automatically at night if I set the temperature before I go to sleep
Answer:	There is a knob/dial on the right side that should turn the unit on/off so the room stays at a set temperature, but it does not work the way it is supposed to. The room will be too hot before it shuts off and too cold before it starts up again. I definitely do not advise leaving it running when you go to sleep.

Answer:	Mine tipped over and kept oscillating and full heat face down into my purse on the floor. It melted everything in there....my glasses, credit cards, lipsticks, etc. I am glad that I woke up. There was no auto shut off, alarm or reduced heat.

Answer:	Copied from an answer to a similar question: A: You can only program it to turn on after a set number of hours not at a certain time. If you want the heater to turn on at 6:00 am, then at 10:00 pm the night before with the unit off, ( heater must be off in order to set the heater to turn on ) touch the timer switch, timer icon will display and using the + or - to increase or decrease the hours displayed set it for 8 hours and the heater will turn on 8 hours later or 6:00 am. If you want the heater to turn off in 2 hours, with the heater running ( heater must be operating in order to set it to shut off ) press the timer and using the the + or - set the hours displayed to 2 hours, basic but effective. see less
