Answer:	The writing on the package is 11"-22", and my knee is 15-1/2", and it fits. so the specs are in error -- trust the picture.

Answer:	Absolutely. I have a bad left knee and have been using this brace for swimming since 1996 when I hyperextended it getting on a rocking boat. My family doctor sent me to an orthopedic surgeon who said I would have to have the knee replaced in 6 months. I have seen so many knee replacements go bad at 69 years old I am not willing to take the chance. I replace mine every year because the wear and tear of taking them off they just get shabby looking. These are for not for 'frog' kicking, that is too much stress on the joint. I have a friend who is a proffesional swim coach an I am still swimming three days a week.

Answer:	The measurement around my knee is about 16" and I use a size large. You would probably want an XL.

Answer:	I think I had found the answer originally on the Ace Bandage website. According to the box, though, Small is 12-14.5 inches in diameter around the largest part of the knee, Medium is 14.5-17 inches, Large is 17-19.5 inches, and Extra Large is 19.5-22 inches. My knee is about 16.5 inches and I found that the medium was too tight; the large was a better fit.

Answer:	You can wear the knee strap either up or down, as it seems the straps are equal length. The Velcro straps on both ends pass through a slot in the body of the strap. One Velcro strap tightens to right side, the other to left side. Hop this helps.

Answer:	I'm not sure what thou mean by tubes. The padding provides the compression but I'm not sure what's in the padding. It does seem to be a dense gel of some kind.

Answer:	I’m short and fat. My thigh is about 20 inches and it just fits. These work well

Answer:	To be honest, i hated this one. It didn't really fit well or comfortably. Luckily I found my usual one which i can 120% recommend. It's a Mueller, XL. I'm guessing if your hand fits tidily on your knee, go for L. If you have more knee than hand (swelling, funny shape or just plain big knee, go forXL. Good luck!!

Answer:	Yes it should be fine. Will say though I ordered it after trying to get another Ace knee support which I had previously ordered which was white. The white one is no longer available in 1X so I ordered the black one. I feel the white one is more supportive than the black. In that case 1X was comfortable and feel it was a better fit. Since I can't seem to find it on Amazon I will be checking drugstores and places like Walmart/Target when I get to them to see if I can find the better suited, to my needs, the white knee support..

Answer:	The one that I bought is white as shown on the package, however I recommend that if you aren't satisfied with your purchase send the item back & request a refund.

Answer:	I thought that just happened to me. I also wanted this white elastic brace and they sent the gray and white which is not the same. I like this white brace as when I work out I need a little pressure on my knee to remind me not to do anything crazy. Since you got the different item too, I assume they not longer have the white one. I went online to find it as I could not find it in any stores. I will probably try to use this one once my 2 older white ones die.

Answer:	I did not order a large since I am 5.3" and weigh 107 pounds, but the small one is 11.5 inches around at the top. The support is perfect without cutting off circulation. Hope that helped.
