Answer:	Yes, it increases the efficiency a little but it still will not slide as smoothly as it should.
Question:	How can I get ahold of your warranty department? Thank you
Answer:	No, this does not replace the shaft. This changes the gear ratio for the door AC/Heater blend door so that the shaft does not break if you get the next one replaced. I was able to replace these gears myself with just a cross tip screwdriver. To fix the shaft you would need the entire kit that the control nobs fit on. That kit from my research can cost from $120 - $400. I had mine replaced by a repair shop and paid $400 with labor. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I can't tell you the cfm, but I can tell you it has to be pretty small. It does move some air, but these fans are more decorative than functional. I have two of them on my wood stove, and was hoping to shut off the fan attached to the rear of the stove. No way do these two replace the air moved by that 110v fan on the stove.

Answer:	It is vacuum packed so it is fine. Also, French cheese can last months at room temperature when they are in a full wheel. One thing that really irritated me was that we were supposed to get a 4lb chunk of raclette cheese which would have just fit on our raclette maker. Instead we got 4 individual 1-lb chunks. The quality of the cheese is excellent and is just like we used to buy in France and Switzerland. Just make sure you have had raclette before, because this is a very strong cheese, smell and taste. :)

Answer:	The base of the fan is very smooth, even with the center metal piece that activates the early starting mechanism. There is no need to add anything to it, because it won’t mark or scratch any surface. It operates silently, and is perfectly balanced. I’m in a 32’ RV Trailer with vinyl floors around my wood stove (except the front has a heat resistant rug) I was very concerned that bought a fan that wouldn’t ‘walk-off-the-stove’ while I slept. IT WORKS SO WELL in heat distribution, that I occasionally need to hook it on the wall nearby.
