Answer:	No, it had no booklet! You had to go online to try and learn the tricks which left us wondering where the 100 tricks came into play because we did not find any where near that many tricks.....we were not happy with this Magic Set at all and returned it and bought the Jim Stott My First Magic Kit which comes with an instruction book plus a link inside to go to an additional web page to watch videos to do the tricks and also can download additional free magic tricks!! Much happier with this magic kit.

Answer:	This magic trick set has video instructions to perform the magic tricks. My 8-year old learned quite a few very quickly. Its very entertaining and if by 'work' you mean comes with good instruction and actually deceives people then it does 'work.'

Answer:	It might be a little young for a 12 year old boy, but my kids had fun (6-11 years).

Answer:	I had to look at a video of the suitcase one and also remember what was included in this one but they're not exactly the same items. This product doesn't come with a magic hat for one thing and also doesn't have a suitcase. I'm looking at the product info that the suitcase set includes so that I can tell you which ones this set does not have. This set does not have a drawer box so that's one thing that is different it's a cool trick where you can put items in it and make them disappear so if that's a trick you want you should get the suitcase set. I don't believe this set came with the lollipop trick so that's another difference. This doesn't have the x-ray color cube one nor the dice escape one and it also doesn't have a half ball. There's no number cards, no card deck for magic card tricks, no flip box, no clear tubes and no hanky thing. This set however does include an interesting trick where you can pour water into the black container and you can make it kind of disappear to the point that you can't pour it out.

Question:	Is this too young for a 11-12 year old
Answer:	All colours can bleed but it's the reds and dark blues that seem the most problematic. Soak them in cold water for a couple minutes and blot dry. Make sure they are completely dry before using. If you're really worried about it, hand wash the bracelets separately.

Answer:	I don't know dimensions. I gave it as a Christmas gift. As best as I remember, I don't think it will fit in the Operation Christmas Child shoebox.

There are pages that are already sticky (like a sticker, but a large portion of a page) that the child can crinkle up pre-cut tissue paper squares to stick on, there are tons of stickers, there are pages that they can color on also (my son wasn't big on coloring at that age, but I know that some toddlers love it). It's a really fun set, and my son made his first art projects that I saved from it...and they turn out looking really cute because they are so well designed for the youngest children.

Answer:	A size 24 tapestry needle, the type used for cross stitch would work well. It does not have a sharp point so it is child safe but it is meal so it is sturdy enough to pierce through felt.

Answer:	I admire your son that he wants to sew and that you are supportive of that. I am a sewer myself and I found that just going to a craft store and buying sewing equipment (needles, thread, scissors, buttons, felt, rick rack, etc.) is a little better quality than what is in this kit. But, the projects are good. There are some books with beginner projects though that can tell you what materials he would need with directions on completing the projects. With my granddaughter, I ended up just showing her how to make the stitches and she designed a blanket (making a hem) and pillow for her dolls. I also taught her to sew on a button, which she used to decorate the pillow. The kit has patterns for making animals, which we didn't get to because we live far apart and ran out of time. Good luck!

Answer:	That depends on the printer measurements. The opening to insert the printer is 13 3/4" wide and 7" high with drawer and slightly less than 9 1/2" high with drawer removed. Both would have restricted access to the printer depending upon printed paper ejection. I would think you would want the printer on the top shelf with open access. The drawer is extremely useful and handy. Extra reams of paper can be stored on the bottom shelf or 1 ream on the floor under the bottom shelf. I have a Samsung WiFi network duplex printer on my top shelf that could fit on the bottom without the drawer but since prints eject out on top, my access would be restricted. Besides, I like having the drawer, it's very functional for me.
