Answer:	Measure the size of your opening. It fit on my portable air conditioner (5 inches) just fine but you need the piece to secure it. I taped mine. It is very durable.

Answer:	This hose fit my Amana portable room air conditioner. Original hose was 5" in diameter and the hose fit INSIDE the accommodating duct port on the air conditioner and tightened by rotating the hose until snug. This new hose was slightly larger in diameter than 5" and so I placed over (outside) of accommodating duct port and used a very large radiator hose clamp to secure it to the air conditioner. They sell these clamps at most home improvement stores (5"-6"). Works just fine on my portable AC. If you measure inside of your AC hose connection and it is slightly over 5" but under 6", then you can make the connection that way. If the AC hose connection is under 5" then you'll have to secure it with a clamp placed to the outside of the hose connection and tighten with Phillips screwdriver.

- The screen is adjustable between 22”-36” for when people open their window – Height would be fixed at height from bottom of U to top of unit. *Reference adjustable screen separately sold.  

6.The machine is not cooling or cooling slowly.

8. The air volume is not enough to feel the wind.

Answer:	If you have any of the old tubing left, hold it directly in front of you so that you are looking into the tube. Find where the wire is cut at the end of the tube. Place your finger on the end of the wire. With clockwise thread, your finger will move to the right in a clockwise fashion as it follows the wire. Without any tubing, you will need to examine the connection port on the air conditioner. Use a butter knife or a screwdriver to simulate the leading edge of the tubing. Place it across the opening and turn it slowly. If the knife follows the ridges deeper by turning the knife to the right, you have a clockwise fitting. Conversely, if everything turns to the left, you have a counter-clockwise fitting.

Answer:	I assume it is has an adjustable suze, not unlike smaller window units who have those adjustable panels on each side so it can fit in Windows of varying sizes. So unless you have a really small or really large windows you should be okay. I am going by what I have seen on typical "window seal plates" and adding that to item description. Sadly I can't tell you it's minimum nor it's max dimensions. Sorry mate.

Answer:	I too have opening outward casements. The hinge side of the window doesn't need to be opened that far since the fabric is wide enough to handle putting out the duct and the window itself will seal the heat and bugs from entering. You could also use a strip of insulating foam or tape to seal it if that makes you more comfortable but is not necessary.

Answer:	I own a Delonghi Pinguino and this hose does fit but the manufacturer of Delonghi recommends not to exceed the 4 ft. maximum. I needed 4 and 1/2 ft. and bought the hose anyway. So far no problems with the extra 1/2 ft. extension but I made sure that the exhaust opening had no restrictions (end of hose attached to a large opening).
