Answer:	I have had this fan for abt a month and I don't know the 5 modes. What I can say is that within the 12 settings, there are 4 different fan speeds that increase (modes 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 & 10-12. Within each of these 4 categories it gets stronger then as you go from say, 3 to 4, 4 is way stronger than the whisper soft 1-3.) I can only assume the 5th mode is when the fan oscillates... ? I can also say that I love this fan and the remote which allows you to oscillate the fan, turn it on/off, raise or lower the fan speed and set the timer. I may buy another for my guest bedroom. Hope this helps!!

Answer:	Not for window ac. Fits standard size freestanding unit. A lititle large for my ac but velcro keeps it tight around bottom.

Answer:	Funny I was thinking of putting in a slit on one of the corners myself. I sew, but I think it's sturdy enough by slitting up past the Velcro straps and attaching below the cables. I live in South Dakota and the wind is horrendous here and had no movement whatsoever. I am going to take it off and put a slit in it. I'm thinking about 10-12". As long as it's tight I would think it would be fine. I still may sew a seam on it and rack the top. Hope that helps!

Answer:	A leaf blower worked like a charm and inflated the duck dome in less than 10 seconds. I just had to manually press the spring to open the valve and hold the blower nearby.

Answer:	There is no "stretch" but it will cover 34" of the unit and I find the drawstring seals and holds the cover in place. As long as all vent openings are covered I don't think it is critical to have 100% of the unit covered.

Question:	My air conditioning unit has a solid back. How do I attach the cord to the back. Does the cord reach to the bottom of the unit
Answer:	This version is strictly to be used in the winter when the unit is not in use. It will keep the falling leaves from entering into the bottom of the unit. Because it only covers the top of the ac unit allowing for any condensation to evaporate in order to prevent the formation of mold. In addition, I would recommmend placing a tennis ball under the cover to allow snow to slide off the top of the ac unit. The mesh type of covers can be used tear round.
Question:	I have an air conditioner 27 x 24, what would be the best size to order
Answer:	George - we do offer these in smaller sizes (32x32 and 28x28), however most people find, especially with our winter covers, that it is best to go a size larger than their AC unit to provide some overlap on the sides and/or corners so the 36 x 36 may be the best bet for you.Thanks!

Answer:	You will be happy with the 32"x32". I have a 34"x34" unit, and I purchased a 36"x36". It fits well and did what it was supposed to last year. Just remember to remove when you turn your air on next year, if you are not used to having any type of cover on your ac unit. Good luck, Scot
Question:	Is the 28" x 28" cover actually 28" x 28" or is that size the size AC unit it covers? If the cover is put on the diagonal it needs to be larger
Answer:	I just went outside to look at my air conditioner cover to see where it was made and to my surprise I couldn't find any tag on the cover at all. However I can tell you that this will be the third winter for this cover and it is holding up great. The material and the workman ship seem to be of excellent quality. If I had to guess I would say that it was probably made in China. Isn't just about everything.
Question:	What is proper size cover for 28" x 28" unit
Answer:	No. The cord is designed to attach to the ridges of a stand alone air conditioner. I would use a bundgy cord to extend the reach. Hope that helps!
