But quiet operation is just one of the many benefits of using this technology. It also allowed us to squeeze such a powerful and effective dehumidifying system into such a small package. Even more, it needs no moving parts to function, and that results in a lightweight machine sporting a longer lifespan.



Using the Ivation DehumMini dehumidifier is easier than frying an egg. Simply check that the removable water-collection reservoir is clicked in securely, and stick it in any area that can use a bit of a dry spell.



How well does the thing work? Well, its smaller size makes it suited for spaces up to 1,100 cubic feet, so that rules out using it in that giant outdoor pool you’ve got. But it works amazingly well for small laundry rooms, basements, attics, and even RVs, boats and antique cars. At the end of a day of 86° Fahrenheit and 80% relative humidity, expect to find approximately 8 ounces of water in the water tank. To spare you the hustle of emptying out an overflowing water tank every day, it can hold approximately 17 ounces or 2-days’ worth of dehumidifying action.



Now no Ivation product is complete without some form of flashing light. We therefore programmed our dehumidifier to shut off automatically once it has reached capacity, and to light up an indicator LED to remind you to empty the tank out. Answer:	I don't have this specific one as I had to return mine as it would never turn on. I did get full refund. I went with another option at another retailer in my town and you can leave it running all the time . It turns itself off when the water reserve is full. I would think most are similar to this.

Question:	how easily can the water container be cleaned
Answer:	The battery door is the most frustrating item on this camera, you must push the release switch and slide the door out away from the camera body until you can pivot it up. It takes both hands to perform this seemingly modest task but there almost nothing to grip on the sides of the door while using your fingernail to push the release button. I was tempted to glue a bump of plastic on the door to have something to push against, but I've found that after a few times, it does release a bit easier than when it was brand new. The price you pay for a water tight seal I guess, good luck, don't throw it just yet!

Question:	Is this a continuously running humidifier? auto on and off? Where can I get a longer pump hose
Answer:	Mine worked just fine as it was delivered. Make sure the valve is closed other wise it will not work

Answer:	I wondered the same thing. It is 5 tons when using the flat area on top of the ram and 2.5 tons when using the "toe". I had to lift a machine in the 2.5 ton range so this made no difference. It worked just fine for an inexpensive tool. If I were in the rigging business I'd want something more robust but, If you have 1 or 2 machines to move and will do it only occasionally it appears to be perfectly adequate

Question:	can I use essential oils in this
Answer:	Part 2- please read part 1 of my answer first!! A: I guess there's a character limit lol! Ok so tutorial continued from my above post: This is the super easy part! Take you Essential oil blend you made or purchased that you want to infuse into the pads and add just enough oil to coat the bottom of the container. Add your clean and dried used scent pads to the container. You can add a few pads at a time .if you have a few like I do, I usually infuse 8 pads at a time, adding 3 pads at a time, add more oil to the container. Add just a little for now. No need to saturate them yet! Put lid on and give it a good shake. Continue this process until all your pads are in the container. Now once all the pads are in the container just look At the pads and see how much they soaked up The oil. You want the pads to look/ be fully coated but obviously not dripping in oil. I've tried it both ways... where I filled up the jar with oils and allowed the pads to infuse that way but I've found it just makes a mess when you insert them into the scent pad compartment on the humidifier with dripping oils. It's not necessary and just wastes oils. So just add enough that the pads can soak up. This may entail letting them sit for a few days, check on them and add more scent/ oil as needed. When I infuse my pads I put just enough oil in the container to cover them. Store in your refrigerator. Then I check back a few days and the pads have the perfect amount infused. Before I use them, I let them infuse for a few days, like 3 or 4. I shake them up as often as I think of it just to stir them around because the pads will stick to each other if you don't and then you'll end up with dry patches with no oils and who wants that? Lol I try not to open the jar during this time but I'll check them to see if some stuck together. Don't use your fingers... use a pair of tweezers to handle them any time you touch them. So basically you've just knocked off or hacked the vapor/ scent pads! Keep the stored in the refrigerator AS IS until you're ready to use them. Again, to use, take them out with tweezers and place in the scent/ vapor compartment of your humidifier! Enjoy! Hope this helps you
