It's best to Use a high current capacity cable With a Quality connector plug since this is the front end of all the rest of your components. It's quite easy for this unit to be a choke point if you don't use a high-quality cable and this doesn't mean anything you might find at Home Depot or Lowe's.

Answer:	The Furman unit has two 12v trigger jacks in the back, one is for a 12v input signal which is supplied by a mini plug coming from another device. This input will then turn on the switched outlets. The mini plug can be coming from any device that can supply the 12v dc. You have three options to supply the 12v to the input jack: 1) buy a device that you can turn on and off and has a 12v dc mini jack output, one of the mini plug ends goes into the device and the other goes into the Furman 2) Get a 12v dc power supply, cut one of the mini plug ends and connect the two wires on the plug onto the power supply. Use the power supply switch to turn on and off. 3) Buy a 12v dc adapter and cut the adapter output cable and one end of the mini cable to match the plus and minus sides of both cables, then put a lamp cord switch on the ac side off the converter. The plus side on the adapter is usually coated with a white stripe and the plus side on the mini plug is connected to the tip of the plug. The length of the mini plug is dependent on how far away you wan to be when turning the units on.

Question:	The cooling fan inside the unit runs 30 secs on then 60 secs off continuously when the compressor is not running. Not right? Noisy
Answer:	i don't really have those issues, so it may be a bad unit. HOWEVER, I did have it running with nothing in it for about 2 hours before putting anything in. so then it did not have to run so hard. Have not had any problems. Also for first load, had some of stuff a little cold to begin with. Since then, just put in more as I take out. this way I am not pushing the unit.

Answer:	Yes. Normal household 110 plug.

Answer:	It doesn't appear you can. It can be placed under a counter top, but I think it is meant for an area where t can get more air circulation otherwise it may over heat.
