Answer:	The interior at the top is 3 3/4 inches diameter. It tapers down to about an inch less (2 3/4) at the bottom. It's true stainless steel, as it doesn't rust even though we keep it in the sink to hold used cutlery waiting to be loaded into the dishwasher.

1. In large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar and baking powder. Make well in center; pour in milk, stirring until jagged dough is formed. Add water and oil; stir until combined, adding more water if needed to bring dough together.

2. On lightly floured surface, knead dough for 5 to 7 minutes or until smooth and soft. Place in bowl; cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.

3. Toss together shredded pork, green onions, hoisin, soy sauce and vinegar.

4. Divide dough into 12 portions; roll or stretch each portion into 4-inch round. Place pork mixture into center of each round; gather dough to enclose filling, pinch on top.

Question:	Can this one cook well for brown rice
Answer:	Yes, I use only brown rice (never white) and it works great. Ratios that work for me are 1 cup brown rice/2-1/2 cups tap water. Do not leave it on the warm cycle for long or it will form a crust at the bottom. As soon as you hear the click that it was moved from "cook" to "warm", I unplug, open the lid and gently stir with the paddle to distribute the little remaining liquid. Then I put the lid back on the let it rest (unplugged) for at least 20 minutes. This method gives me beautiful dry brown rice. I wouldn't bother with the last 20 minutes if I was going to be dumping the rice into a stew. Enjoy!

Answer:	If you’re not at sea level, it could take longer; I’m not sure. I live at 7,000 feet in New Mexico and gave up entirely on babysitting beans all day and use the pressure cooker instead. The reason is that in, say, San Francisco, water boils at 212 degrees. In Santa Fe, it’s more like 194. So it boils at a lower temperature and things take longer. This applies to oven-cooked foods as well, and baking is a nightmare. (We have good bakeries here, so I quit worrying about that.) Answer:	I have cooked with about a 1/4 cup and it worked well. So for a single person, it can work well.
Question:	Can you use this to cook rice without having the steaming part attached, i.e. just use the base, bowl for rice, and the glass top
Answer:	Yes, definitely. The steaming part is used when you need to steam something otherwise just use put the rice on the "bowl" into the base and cover with the glass top. Don't forget to press the switch to cook :)

Answer:	Clean thoroughly, and allow to dry thoroughly. Rinse and drain regularly. Many new appliances have a light application of non-toxic oil sprayed on internal components to protect the metal parts prior to being boxed at the factory. This coating can cause an off taste and should be cleaned off before the first use. When making ice with tap water(or spring water), minerals can build up on internal surfaces which can affect the taste. To correct these issues, clean the inside surfaces thoroughly using a thin mix of mild dish detergent and water, or a 1 part bleach to 10 parts water solution. Follow that with a good rinsing and allow to dry completely. As a final note, the use of distilled water for ice making is not harmful, and leaves fewer impurities behind to clean later. Some individuals though, may find the ice produced from distilled water to have a flat taste when compared to the natural mineral content of other water types.

Answer:	Yes. I have made 1/2 cup uncooked rice in this pot and it came out great. Also will cook other grains—I have made quinoa in mine with great success. If anything, it does better with smaller rather than larger portions.
