How to get a better dehumidification with LONOVE dehumidifier?

When you run the dehumidifier in winter, please make sure that the room has enough warmth, which can help the dehumidifier work better, avoid frosting affecting the dehumidification effect. NOTE:

1. The effect of the dehumidifier is related to the temperature, humidity, room size, airflow speed(windows or door closed or not), and so on. The more humid, the better effect. The smaller the room, the better effect.

2. Operating temperature: The optimum room temperature is 59℉-104℉(15℃-40℃ )and Relative humidity: 80%RH. If the air temperature is ＜59℉ (15 ℃), the effect of dehumidification is not obvious, and it will not work ＜41°F(5℃).

3. Operating humidity: The optimum room humidity is 40%RH-80%RH, temperature ≥ 68℉(20 ℃), relative humidity ≥ 60%RH. If the humidity is ＜60%RH, the dehumidifier usually does not remove 12oz (350ml) a day.

Answer:	Yes. When the water tank gets full, the dehumidifier will shut off automatically. It works much better if you con connect a drain hose and drain it somewhere. The water tank can fill up in a 5 hour period.

Answer:	It does not mentioned it is energy star rated. But it does not consume a lot of electricity based on my experience.

Answer:	As per the manual says, the standard free warranty is 1 year.
Question:	If the dehumidifier is placed upstairs will it pull moisture from the basement? Or would we need 2 dehumidifiers - one for upstairs and one for down
Answer:	No, it will not pull moisture from one floor to another. You need 2 units. I think mine works very well. Just be sure to store it upright for 24 hours BEFORE you plug it in otherwise you risk damage.

Answer:	Not aware of the activated charcoal one, only use the one for dampness in my garage. Sorry.

Answer:	I use in my travel trailer, it last 6 months. I would get at least 2 For your basement and watch the moisture line on the pale Every few weeks to see how quickly it’s absorbing. Then decide if you need more.
Question:	How do I change a ship address
Answer:	That all depends if you order has been processed or not. You can go into “Your Orders” and look at the status of your order. If the product has not been processed you can either cancel the order and re-order with the correct address or change the order shipping address.
Question:	Any thoughts on being able to reuse the product, ie, dump the water out or place in oven on lowest heat setting and evaporate the moisture
Answer:	The other answers are so ignorant and wrong I had to add my own. Based on the MSDS sheet, and not the ignorant "it's made of chemicals, therefore probably harmful, so no, even though I have no clue hur durr", it's primarily anhydrous calcium chloride, with some potassium and sodium chloride as well. Anhydrous calcium chloride is commonly used as a dessicant (a drying agent) in the lab, and can be regenerated quite easily. The problem in this case is that the temperature needed to do so is about 300C, which would melt the tub it comes in. So, if you dump it into a pot, and put it in your oven at 300C (~575F) until is dry again, you'll be able to reuse the contents again. Just google " Calcium Chloride Dessicant" and look up the MSDS for the product if you need more information.
