Answer:	I'm sorry, but Alen Corporation is incorrect and is falsely advertising this product, if they are claiming that they do not use the words "True HEPA," as "J" from Alen Corporation claims in his reply to this question. As of 2-26-2020, the description for this product on Amazon absolutely says "True HEPA". It reads: "Alen Replacement Air Filter for BreatheSmart Classic, True HEPA VOC Filter for VOC's, Smoke, Chemicals, Allergies, Pollen, Dust, Dander and Fur by Allen." I originally purchased this product, believing that it had a "True HEPA" filter. If there is a difference between "True HEPA" and True HEPA VOC," then that difference needs to be clarified.

We currently have 3 of these. 1 in each of our offices and 1 in one room of the house.

Answer:	I run a daycare also in my finished basement. Depending on the size of your space, you may want their room size model. I have their model EV9102 UV Sanitizer. it's bigger and does more air quickly for my daycare. I use this tiny unit for my half bath and where I keep the litter box and it's amazing! The smell the other answer talks about does dissipate usually within 24 hours. If not, the company should take care of it. I've had zero issues with 3 units.

Answer:	Depends upon the size of the room. This unit has to cycle ALL the air in the room through it to remove all the germs from the room. This device is rated to clean 456 cubic ft in one hour. An 8 x 8 x 8 room is 512 cubic ft of air; takes 1.12 hours to clean. An 12 x 12 x 12 ft room is 1728 cubit ft of air; takes 3.78 hours to clean. I hope this helps. The 3rd number is the height of the ceiling, most are 8 ft tall.

Answer:	Rhubarb smells like slightly acrid strawberries. Vaguely plant-y and earthy. It's better than it sounds. Not overly sweet or too feminine.

Answer:	I ordered a three pack of the Basil scent. They shipped me a one pack. When I contacted customer service they told me they would reship the correct package and it came again as a one pack. Answer:	The manual does not specify. The WiFi hub is well protected in the top part of the fan where it is anchored to the ceiling, and I so, I presume it can used outside. Might want to call the company or a dealer to find out exactly.

Answer:	Two different compartments. the top one has small marble like rocks, about 3/8" and the bottom compartment has a bag of small charcoal. I have taken it apart and cleaned the compartments a few times. Soon I will probably have to get new charcoal, but so far it's working great. I love this filter. My aquarium water was totally green, this filter had it cleaned up and sparkling water in two days. I now only run the light about 1/3 of the time. The filter goes all the time. Great purchase. And no I'm not a paid opinion person.

Answer:	Roughly 3.5"w, 2"d, 2"h.......Obviously Bio media isn't an issue, and any carbon media bag works for the center basket, but the trick is the sponge. I buy fluval 30 size media sponges, cut them in half and turn them sideways and they fit perfect. Somewhat of a pain, but depending on the quantity of fish in your tank, you shouldn't need to replace your sponge but once every few months. And rinse it out about every 20 days or so

Answer:	I think those "rocks" are porous and supposed to serve as a "bio filter" and holding microorganisms for a properly balanced aquarium ecosystem. I don't think you are supposed to clean them other than maybe quickly rinsing them on occasion if too much crud builds up.

Answer:	You don't have to buy the sponge and media. It comes with the pump. But, you'll have to replace them eventually. The sponge can be washed and reused.

Answer:	I got one purifier but the filters were already inside (not packed separately). You have to remove the filters from the air purifier and remove the plastic wrap. Surely the 2-pack ones would be packaged the same. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Question:	how noisy it this anyone know the decibels
Answer:	Ran some db tests ( dBMeter Apple App ) to show my wife what 35 decibels sounded like. Now I choose quite nighttime and found that our New Samsung Refrigerator is running at 31 decibels. She said “ Pretty Quite Pa “ LOL We don’t pay a bit of attention to our refrigerator running so as I explained to her “ you won’t ever notice it at all while sleeping, once it becomes just another background noise.
Question:	Does this help with pet hair
Answer:	Dog owner of a large lab/rhody mix here - plus mother of 3 boys ages 2, 7, and 13 (and we all have mild asthma and seasonal allergies and allergies to dust - yay us!! haha ;)!) - yes this helps a lot with pet hair and dander, and dust, and air quality in general. It is the best one we have EVER owned and we have tried SEVERAL over the years. It is great!

Answer:	Unfortunately almost ALL usa owned companies outsource manufacturing to other countries. There are less than 100 brand lines that are manufactured in the usa. It would be nice if a journalist or major news outlet would keep a running tab on this every year.

Answer:	Both Bac-Out products function and are used the same, the primary difference is the fragrance. The fragrance for Bac-Out is Lemon Lime, and the fragrance for Bac-Out Pet is Lemon Lime and lavender.

Answer:	For this product you should place the product directly on the stain and than wash it in the washing machine.

Answer:	I use this product for all stains not just my animals. It does a great job.
Question:	Does it matter which direction the pre-filter is placed ? I cannot find any info as to whether it should be facing front or facing rear
