This spot measures roughly 8 inches in diameter at 3 feet, and maybe 2 feet in diameter at 10 feet. For what it's worth, I carry one of these everywhere, and has been very helpful to my aging eyes. With intermittent use, the single AAA can go a week or two (maybe more). Love these! Don't know if I helped at all, but I gave it my best shot.

Answer:	A triple A battery will fit, but the light requires a 3.7 Volt battery,and the AAA batteries are only 1.2 Volts.

Answer:	Yes a USB power bank could be used as it would be the same charge from a power plug - the adapter on the flash light is a USB plug setup - the charge last a very long time but I have a USB power pack I have used once - just a little bit bulky to use both - I had to set both down but did have the extra time.

Answer:	Really? As opposed to what daylight? Yes it works at night.

Answer:	I never had the smaller one, but I bought the bigger one for two reasons, the light "lumens" was much larger, if I remember correctly, and the battery inside was also much larger. Those two things motivated me to buy the larger light. Since you can use the battery to charge your cell phone, thus the advantage of the larger battery, and when I want light like this, not a simple flashlight, I want large amount of light, so I bought the larger one. It is not that heavy. The only thing I would change is the actual color of the flashlight body, because the body is all black it is hard to see in the dark. So, I am going down to my local hardware store and buy some reflect tape to make the thing easier to see, it is no good if I can find it once the power goes off. I hope this helps.

Answer:	The lock switch is designed to prevent accidental trigger pulls, preventing unwanted changes to the light mode. The lock switch will keep the spotlight OFF during transport or when not in use. It can also lock the spotlight ON if you want to keep the the light in its current ON mode.
